It was my older brother got me into R N R & Rockabilly in the 50s listening to Gene Vincent and I got many mates into his stuff ,will always remember his live performances in the U.K. London weeks before he died , Blackpool Pier on a Rock n Roll weekend , Sheffield City Hall and at the Cavern Club when the Beatles invited him there before the group were famous but were big fans in the early 60s . Great times ,but when your into 1950s music time turns slowly ,have most of my mates still around , still ride old motorcycles and of course still listen to those oldies ,so in our 70s but still behaving badly according to my sons and Grandkids ! . 🏍.

Dylan: "I had carried that song around in my head for a long time and I remember that when I was writing it, I'd remembered a Gene Vincent song. It had always been one of my favorites, Baby Blue... 'When first I met my baby/she said how do you do/she looked into my eyes and said/my name is Baby Blue.' It was one of the songs I used to sing back in high school.
