Watching this on the evening of pheasant opener a.k.a. biggest holiday of the year here in Montana. Nothing like an Eric Forrester video to get you pumped. PS we absolutely love cc.
She was impressive smart right from the start! Figuring out the posts meant birds in training was over the top smart!! Riggs started a little slower but over the top good now!!
As always great shooting for most off the part but it’s the dog work that stands out as always and so good to see cc doing her thing it shows the care you have for your dogs that at 11 years she still nocking it out thanks for sharing from Ireland 🇮🇪 thill next time can’t wait
Outstanding views of beautiful country. Nice to see you hunting with your brother Tom... I thought we might not see that until Kansas. You seem a little happier, a little more humor and pep in your step when hunting with your brother, which of course is only natural. I like it when you leave the "whiffs" in. That way I know I'm not the only one. That's a brotherhood too...the shooting of the atmosphere and nothing else. Also called conservation with noise. Carry on, sir. Looking forward to the next adventure.
CiCi : Every hunt. Every step. Is to be cherished with her at this stage of the game. Glad you can share and lasting vids of her. I think I can say for the subscribers here. WE LOVE THIS DOG ! Is Tom from the midwest also ?
Always entertaining to watch! When Tubbs came through that barb wire fence it sent a chill up my spine! I almost lost a dog to barbed wire. My 4 year old chocolate lab, Shadow went through a barb wire fence and the barbs hung him up in his groin! It completely severed the main artery going to his penis and blood was gushing out! I dropped everything and rushed him to the vet where he was able to sew him up and stop the bleeding. Shadow spent another couple days at the vet's place so he could watch over him. The vet said he could easily have bled to death! Did I mention how much I hate barbed wire!!
You always create great videos. Amazing hunt with your brother and beautiful dog work. Love to see Cici out there still doing what she love at her age. Can you explain what gun, gauge ,and pellets size you use in these hunts?
Thank you! I usually carry my 12ga auto because I shoot it the best but it is total overkill for these hunts. I use open chokes and 7.5 target loads. It doesn’t take much to bring down a sharpie.
Another awesome video Eric! Looking forward to a trip to North Dakota next week. This definitely gets the juices flowing. Question, what choke and shot do you use. Thanks!@ Keep the videos coming
Man! Tom is quick!! Did your mom give you shotguns instead of rattles when you were born?? You guys really compliment awesome dog work!! (Most of the time😊)!
Great dogs, scatter guns, birds and family. Priceless. Thanks Eric.
Thanks!

So are we going to talk about that rack you walked past at 10:12 in the lower left of the screen.
Nothing like hunting with family. Great dog work and video always look forward to your hunts.

Open chokes and 7.5’s
Good stuff. Would love to see an Indiana video, I’ve always wondered what the bird hunting is like there
Not very many birds here. A few pheasant up north and some quail in the SW. I run my dogs on them sometimes but I don’t shoot any. Too precious!
@@ericforrester1 that’s too bad! It’s such a beautiful state and seems like great bird habitat.
Good video. Curious - what type of auto loader and gauge do you use? Thanks.
I have a Benelli Ethos 12. It’s overkill for most of the hunting I do but I shoot it the best.
Do you ever see any bison? I hear there is about 500,000 free roaming now on the great plains
There aren’t any where i hunt as far as I know. They are a couple herds that I know of in other areas.
How do you record your videos? GoPro? Also, what are you using to edit them? Thanks for sharing!
GoPro and iMovie
