Dressing up jeans and creating great looks with your favorite pair is not difficult if you know some men's style basics and tips. This video shows you Aaron's 5 favorite ways to dress up that perfect pair of jeans.
Nothing is better than a great pair of jeans- simple, stylish, and rugged. Jeans rock! They are versatile- rugged can be turned into refined with some strategic options. Stylish Ways to Dress Up Your Jeans Select the jeans you're going to be dressing up. Note that beat-up jeans with whiskering are harder to dress up than dark wash jeans. The darker the wash, the better the look. Butt bling and fancy pocket stuff are not advised. Pair the jeans with your favorite dress shoe and then combine with matching belt. From there, add pieces: Fitted Button Up Shirt - You can untuck your shirt but make sure it's the proper length so you don't look like you're wearing a dress. Dress shirts are designed to be tucked in; casual shirts are made to be worn left out. Layering - Pair with vest or waist coat. Take it up a notch with a tie. You can also go with a sweater vest. The V Neck Sweater - you don't have to wear a tie by going casual without the tie. Sport Coat - combine everything all together Jacket with Shirt - casual, cool, not so uptight

So I wore some jeans, white dress shirt tucked in and black dress shoes for the first time 2 weeks ago after watching this video. A dude actually complimented me and said he couldn't pull it off. At that time, I was wearing some jeans that were not optimal...they were boot cut but fit well. Since then I have invested in some slim straight jeans and some brown double monk strap cap toe shoes. I have received many compliments on my shoes to include my director at my job.

I cannot in words express the thanks I owe alpha for turning my own self confidence 180 degrees. After losing a four year relationship and having no style sense whatsoever trying to come back out into public as a single man being overweight I thought there was no way I could recover. Yeah I don't think teens can getaway with the same thing for 'men', we just look like we've been digging through our dads wardrobe
MinionF You'll look like da boss with some of these. Like the V-neck sweater with a shirt under doesn't look awkward on teens. However, I think that if you want to be classy and you're a teen, don't care what others think just be a boss. But yeah, I agree some of this stuff is a little too much.
honestly I'd say a teen could pull off most of those looks, what makes it weird looking on a teen is that most don't have properly fitting clothes, a shirt thats a bit too loose because it's meant to "grow in" or too tight since you grew out of it...
If you get clothes that actually fit, then it's mainly about attitude
Dude, I'm 19 but I look 14 lol I wear this type of clothing and most girls my age and above feel my presence when I walk into a room with proper attire. All eyes are on you, and a few times I have had girls come up to me and tell me how great I dress. And guess where that lead to? ;) Just wear clothes that fit properly and buy nothing from hollister, ambercombie, aeropostale, etc.
I think that the most of teens wear "tumblr style" or go to the grown man look. How I feel awkard when I see those guys is... I don't know, bad? Horrifying?

Try a relaxed fit pair of denim, take them to your tailor to get them hemmed and taken in at the ankle.

Great suggested advice for semi-casual dress. This works well for me since I enjoy the Arts - Jazz , Classical , Broadway Shows , Stylish but not stuffy.

Great video. I agree with everything you said bro... Besides the distressed Jeans. I buy and distress my own jeans. Women love it and ask me if I can distress it for them sometimes. Now the big thing here is when they inquire about your style. Common ground and sparking a girls interest is a great way to get numbers.
i liked it best at 3:36 when your tie was off and you buttoned up all the way. It just seems more stylish at the moment and more of my style

I totally love this look, and while I do know how to be creative and come up wiith variations on this look with the pieces I already own, I want to use some of the pieces shown here to add yet another layer to my overall wardrobe.
