I stumbled across this channel while looking for ways to straighten a warped/twisted board, and it did something totally unexpected. I am a little blown away over here. I lost my father in law not quite a year ago, and he had grown up in rural West Virginia. We were really close. The guy in these videos sounds so much like he did... He had the same gentle, funny way of talking and explaining things. I'm a little bit of a wreck over here now remembering him. Never take for granted those you care about. But on a lighter note - thanks for these videos!
Hello! As someone who knows very little about tools, despite growing up in a small town and being surrounded by it, I am really enjoying your videos! I feel like I've lost out on so much, I'm 23 and can barely swing a hammer. Your videos are motivating me to learn more about skills I will use for a lifetime! God bless.
Love his wisdom! Reminds me of my woodworking grandpa! This man and others like him are precious and we need to share this to younger generations! We all can learn from them. Our past was strong because of them and our future is at risk if this wisdom is not achieved.
I found this lesson particularly fascinating to film. I’m learning so much.

Love it. I’m having flashbacks of high school “simple machine” lessons. I love the way he explains things.
