    I noticed the Amazonbasics brand arms missing recently too!! Luckily I bought mine back in 2019 or so. I have the dual monitor Amazonbasics mount and it holds up my two 27 inch monitors with no problems.

    Arms like the Vivo Basic are the best for me. Compact and simple. I don't want my monitor going up or down and I'd guess like me most people have multiple monitors. Moving one means I have to adjust 2 more physically and likely in software since they're different sizes.

    I spoke with an ergotron representative and they mentioned that they manufacture for Amazon. They even offered me replacement parts on it.

    Having worked with a bunch of arms over the years I've settled on the monoprice dual monitor mount as it does what I need well without costing a ton. If I was constantly moving one or both of my monitors around I'd probably upgrade to a gas system over spring but I don't so this works well for me with 2 27" monitors. That said I love Ergotron's stuff, I've owned a few of their older mounts and they were all good.

      What dual monitor arms do you recommend?

    • @nadtz
      @nadtz 27 дней назад

      @@XanderSut Depends on your budget and the size of monitors. Like I said I went with the Monoprice Heavy-Duty stand, but it looks like it has gone up a bit in price on Amazon. I got it for a little over $100 when I bought it, now it's $160.
      There are a number of less expensive options on Amazon, some of which have reviews on RUclips in the $50-$100 range, so it might be worth taking some time to shop around if budget is an issue.
      If money is no issue Ergotron makes fantastic stands, but they also cost a lot more.

    The Black version of the Amazon Basics arm is still available in Canada but not in the US atm, kind of odd. Also the back of the monitor arm says "Ergotron patent" stamped in to the back so it's a rebranded Ergotron or a ripoff. Its a really nice product if its a rip off though. Bought 2 of them and they work great.

    I bought a dual monitor arm from a brand called nb north for 75$ it supports 2 27 inch comes with a C clamp or center desk clamp and cable routers. I drilled a hole through my desk it gave me free movement for the monitors.

      Funny enough I ordered 3 Dell MSA20 monitor arms, but one of them was accidently packaged with the Amazon Basics arm, but in the Dell packaging. I don't even want the Amazon Basics and just want the arm I ordered😂

    this probably wont be read but is there anything like the VIVO Basic Post but like "better"? im getting a new monitor soon and i barely have any space behing my desk and id have to mount the monitor arm a bit to the right anyways so a post like that would be perfect for my case i think

    I like overkill and was going to buy the HX for my 34 UW 34” Alienware monitor at 13.8 pounds . Will the HX be adjustable enough to support a monitor that’s considered too light for its specs . I don’t want my desk shaking and the monitor raising itself up all the time . I realize it’s adjustable to a point .
    Thanks in advance . Great video , liked and subbed

    One thing I noticed about the spring monitor arms is that you cannot adjust only the vertical axis without the monitor shifting on the horizontal axis too unless you have a hybrid pole and spring monitor arm which isn't easy to adjust vertically. Do you know any spring monitor arm that has a pivot both on the monitor AND right on the base so that you can adjust it vertically without the need of rotating the arm or without it shifting horizontally too?

    Careful that many arms state they support up to certain diagonal, but not with curved monitors. It is surely mentionned somewhere, the curvature makes it tilt forward with more force, "Samsung not supported".

    Would you recommend the HX for the LG 45GR95QE-B? It's ~20 lbs which something like the LX should be able to support but it's a lot bigger.

      Look into the Dell MSA20. I'm surprised they weren't in this video. They by far gave the best built in cable management and are way more premium then the Amazon Basics arm
