Marko Markov I have owned 7 subarus and dont think I will own another. I still love them... but too many small issues I ran into. This car I think is more reliable and MUCH more room... Almost like a truck lol

I am well on my way of purchasing M35, but am afraid of the VQ25DET as it is only produced for this model and here in Europe the car I want to buy is literally the only one with that engine, so I'm not sure I will be able to find a garage to do the work I don't wanna do. Do you have any suggestions what I should look for before buying it? It has no rust anywhere, but i noticed some rattling noise under slow breaking (10km/h). Other than that I am absolutely in love with that car, attention to detail is crazy and the pearl white is magnificent.
+Marko Markov Always do all the fluids. Mine has the occaisonal rattle as well...but its a 15yr old car...so Im assuming it falls under normal wear and tear. The passenger side valve cover gasket leaks and it common as it gets hotter from turbo... When you replace that gasket...the intake mani gasket needs done as well(not a huge job). I am also in the same position with the VQ25DET. Closest cars here are the G35s/350zs which alot transfers over to this car. My rubber intake hose was cracked all over the place as well as my vac line so I replaced most of them and the car runs much better.
