  • This Is one of the best kettlebell lower body exercises for quads. Many of you are searching for this exercise to really focus on quadriceps development. The original video I made in 2008 -ish is on the smith machine before I had access to kettlebells.
    This is a fast way to incorporate somersault squats. Also you can use a dumbbell but the ROM gets shorter the heavier the DB is. THIS IS A FANTASTIC BODYBUILDING KETTLEBELL EXERCISE.
    If you dont have a Smith machine, this is the next best. And for some people, It is the best setup !

    your videos have been vary informative. I use to do a lot of power lifting until I had a stroke in 2007 was totally paralyzed on my left side. told I would most likely die within a year. obviously I haven't but I have gotten away from barbells and refuse to put a bar on my back. so I have gotten into kettlebell and bodyweight. Guys like you,Steve Cotter and Mike Mauhler have made me glad I did. thank you. I will never quit training and with your help maybe I will live a little longer.

    I realize this video is over 3 years old but I have started doing these squats and I don't feel the crazy burn in my quads until I finish each set, it's a crazy aftershock but also while I am doing these squats I feel it working my calves overtime! I don't know if you feel it in your calves like I do but its pretty badass either way.

      likely nothing wrong with your form, it's one of those fancy exercises that are a poor choice if you are serious about your training - if you put there enough weight, your arms will extend before your quads get fatigued, just do squats, leg press or leg extensions. Reverse nordics w kb if you lack equipment to do the former. These guys trying to reinvent the wheel with silly unconventional exercises usually do it only to get some views and nothing else.

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  Год назад

      It's just an accessory like a leg extension for those without access to that machine. Serious about training 😂😂😂😂

    • @wendigo995
      @wendigo995 Год назад

      @@kettlebellmusclegain except it's not similar to leg extension at all, more similar to leg press, but even then - your arms are going to give up their position before your legs do, and idk how heavy kb you need to have to fatigue your quads without doing 20+ reps. It's a poor exercise.

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  Год назад +1
