WARNING! This is a dangerous procedure. Before you ever remove the wiper blade from the arm of any vehicle, MAKE SURE TO LAY A FOLDED TOWEL on the windshield underneath. Once the blade is off the upright arm, if the arm is accidentally touched it will fall ruining the windshield!

@@CarolinaCowboys I got a new windshield and got new wipers. My wife says can she help put one one. I didn't think she could botch that, but that is what she did. Ever since I have used a towel so it doesn't happen to me too. I would never live it down.

this is the easy bit....but how do you replace the actual rubber.

The entire assembly comes off and you don't replace the rubber anymore. Back in the day you could just slide new rubber blades in but not anymore.

Besides, after using so many different brands of wipers, I've found the OEM ones are always the best.
