Thanks. Cant remember the brand hard cover but I got it from autoanything. Pretty sure it was there brand but it's very similar to the backflip brand with drains on each side. The rack is the m series adarac. I did end up adding a third bar and support after the awning was on. I can only open the last flap on the bed cover with the mid height bed rack. But that is fine with me it's mainly to keep things in the bed protected. Hope this helps.
It's a auto anything brand bed cover similar to backflip. It's an adarac m series bed rack. Been happy with both so far. Since this video I did add a third bar. Can see it with CVT video
Curious what the awning looks like deployed. With the mid-height bed rack my worry is the awning would be too low. What kind of clearance do you get when deployed? Thanks!
Your right it is low; but, the truck sits high so if I level it in back it raises,or I put the back over a low spot. Another option is to raise the far end and angle so the water will run like off a roof towards the truck, to a gutter and drain where you want it to. Not ideal but works if needed in a pinch. I have been lucky that I have found spots that slope behind the truck, so it hasn't been an issue yet. Hope this helps.
The bed on the ram is not same width all the way back so they are different widths to make it look good... front is 73 Middle 72 Rear 71 close to measure not exact.
Any issues with the weight of the tent when loaded with people with running the adarac? Been looking at a similar setup but was concerned about the weight rating on the adarac.
I did add a third support you can probably see in other videos. Support is great especially with third support, had to add mainly when I put on the back awning. Gave more vibration.
I have the exact setup and surprised that your adarac supported it well. I had to add a 3rd cross bar to support the tent
I actually had to add the third bar last month.
Awesome presentation Fred & great job on the modifications, good luck putting the tent to good use.
Thanks Adam... really appreciate your feedback.
What bed cover system and bed rack do you have? Awesome video, very helpful!

Hello from Pennsylvania! Love your enthusiasm. One might think you were still in our area 😊. K&D!! ❤❤
Thanks for the support
Yeah we have some strong cold fronts that are like your area; but, in the same week it warms up and we're boating on the river.
Looks great! thank you for sharing this for others to watch. Should we send you some more stickers :)
Thanks, I'm really happy with the products so far. Customer service is great; and, no I'm good with stickers for now:)
So it looks like you lost the space to put up the awning poles for the windows. Have you remedied that?
Never did. I have since switched to another tent.

What length bars are on those racks going across the bed? 78”?

Can't remember the original length but they are from adarac. I cut them to those approximate lengths for my specific install.
I love this video!
Glad you liked it:)
