Etsy took down one of my listings as soon as I submitted it to be reviewed for counterfeit. It was for stickers I designed. Contacted them but the lady couldn’t help me. I’ve been waiting two weeks to hear something. But what gets me is if it weren’t for copyright infringement, Etsy wouldn’t exist. That’s 90% of all the stuff they sell. No seller there has a license to sell Disney or NFL merchandise. Give me a break.
Theres a big problem relying just on Etsy be careful. I was making $10,000 on my first year selling on Etsy and they marked 2-3 products all at once as copywrite as someone reported it (its usually other sellers I found out as some actually got reversed as they were not 'authorised' according to Etsy) because there were so many all together I hit their max breach and they shut down my store. After that you can not reopen at all its compleatly done! This was years and years ago when I was making invitations and like you said I saw so many people making disney etc ones I thought it was ok (I just didnt know at that stage). So make sure you have other ways of selling not just Etsy as you might just wake up one day and your store is completly gone and your not able to reopen ever. Google Etsy stores closed and see eevryones stories. My $10,000 was nothing compared to other people $50,000 - $100,000 in sales and then overnight just lost their businesses!

I wish more bosses treated their employees with such love and respect and care. If they did we might value our work more.

Omg Etsy did the exact same thing to me a few weeks ago! Removed my best selling earrings while I was on holiday so I was then in a mad panic to find out why. They told me it was because they we're handmade? I told them that's nonsense and I'm happy to send over photos and videos of me producing them but still haven't heard back. It's so frustrating!
isn't etsy advertiding that they sell handmade stuff... such a weird reason!

Thats what happened with us, they claimed that it wasn't handmade (Which it isn't) But it states I designed them and got them made (Which is allowed) however some seller on Alibaba has stole my photos and listings, so they thought I just bought it in, it was very frustrating, eventually they put it back up, haha I could of cried :')

Etsy is getting to be a headache but as I don’t have a large enough platform I am sticking with it. Hopefully I can make the change to my own website but since it’s just a side hobby that pays sometimes I’m good where I’m at. Hopefully things work out for you. 🙏
Same here. I don’t have a big audience yet, so I don’t want to pay more money for an e-commerce site.
I hear ya. I want to leave Etsy, but I'm still a little fish in a big ocean. But, I'm learning to be patient
My big concern is ales tax because every state has so many different laws regarding nexus
Etsy is great because of its SEO capabilities when your just starting out! Until you build your own customer base, I would still reccomend them for the beginning stages!
The die cut stickers are sooo pretty! I really like how the bottom row have similar style, but different color palettes. They look gorgeous together!
The die cuts looks wonderful! The sour puss shirts cracked me up, so cute. I love the pink and yellow colors together,very pretty and summery. And I loved the gingy planner stickers. I think gingy and spice are my favorite characters of yours. 🥰

Etsy can be such a pain. A payment reserve was put on my account (I think because I’m a new shop?) and they withheld my money for 45days. So annoying! You’d think with them being such a big company they’d have better customer service lol.

Always love your vlogs. Etsy may have an issue with Bumblebutt but Mira Byler certainly doesn't. I watch her channel too and she was opening things she'd bought from other artists and you were first. Please don't ask me why but I actually squealed and felt like a proud parent. She said so many lovely things about you. But it doesn't surprise me that you are loved the world over 💕💕💕

Etsy is doing that a lot. Deactivate and no emails like they say you will get explaining anything. No live person to contact anymore and emailing them just makes you so frustrated because you get generic information, they clearly don't read your message and I am fed up with them. Now I earned star seller and they won't let me have it ever they said too many violations! I don't understand it but again no info to back up their claims and nobody to be able to contact and help you for all the fees we pay

I haven't finished the video yet, but if the vinyls were done on a Roland the grain can't be helped. I was looking into switching to one when we went from silhouettes to large format, and the grainy-ness on details (and certain colours) was just too much for me. I was not a fan and I prefer companies who print on a good quality printer and then laminate it with UV protection.

Sigh, I’ve used Wix in the past, not a fan! I’m so sorry that happened to you! What do you use to integrate it with your Etsy shop? I currently use Wordpress, but it’s become clunky with plugins and I’m planning to move everything to squarespace and do a massive overhaul and cleanup of my portfolio.
I’m not ready to have full e-commerce yet, but I want a way to make it easier. Currently, I just post image thumbnails and link them to listings in my shop.

My local ecommerce platform also took down my perfume listing citing a totally incorrect reason of violation. My product lost exposure because of it and the new listing I made has no body buying till now. It is so disheartening to the point that I could cry if I think too much of it, sigh.
What company do you use to get the stickers done?
She usually uses local suppliers. You can google some local to you or use websites like Alibaba to find one overseas.
Sounds like the Etsy AI struck again. They took one of my listings down for no reason. I just reuploaded it and its been fine since.
Etsy needs to becareful cos they n be nothing without customers such a shame how they’re treating everyone
bloody etsy, you prob already looked but here are some cut and pastes about deactvation "An Etsy listing will only stay active for 4 months. If it does not sell during that time and you have not set it to automatically renew inside of Etsy then it will be moved to an inactive status."
" Etsy may remove listings that violate the following policies:
Handmade Policy.
Prohibited Items Policy.
Sanctions Policy.
Intellectual Property Policy."
I think I'd take a bet on auto renew, you may not have done that bit, why would you?
I still love Etsy as a buyer, but as a seller I kind of hate them. They don't seem to care about sellers at all. Which is a weird business model!
Is it just me, or does it feel like the video was unfinished? It feels like we only got the first part because it was short, and she didn't do her usual outro.
I’ve been noticing that with a few videos lately! When she was talking about taking product photos it felt like we were going to see the process then the video just sort of cut off?
Sorrry! ive been just grabbing the camera, and filming and half the videos are like a hour or so long so I've split them ahhaha i wanted to feel like a continuationo into the next vlog nice and smoothly, but I think I need to plan more hahah

@@KatnippStudios the only thing you need to do is film an intro or outtro after the video of over letting people know it’s a part 1 and part 2. Or at least, this is a technique I’ve seen others do
