I am 58 and retired at 50. 1 thing I did do to retire early was to get out of the 401K and IRA programs. Bought rental real-estate and I am now a Limited Partner in about 3500+ units. I do not work.
I only contribute 5% to get full company match, that’s it. The 401K plan is designed for you to work until you are about dead. Also, the government does not have their hands on it yet either.

Lately they been investing in solid start ups, bonds, digital currencies, precious metals with real backing, while manipulating the stock market decisions as influenced by congress, driven by year round events and consumer sentiment in the past half decade.
I agree the market is manipulated that’s why I never contribute above 5% I try to enjoy the ride while I invest.

To my understanding Success depends on the right actions and steps you take to achieve it. And taking the right opportunity.

100% As simple as it sounds, it boils down to two things: 1. Embracing a proven Process that works,, and #2. Taking consistent ACTION.
Don't forget that money grown on trees. The most important thing to learn is to multiply the money that you do have.

I tried over paying my taxes and got burned crispy.
How?
It took me 9 years taking a loss when I started to become successful and had money to give the state at 10% of every deposit for every quarter they would not except my money. It's call being manipulated by the Democratic party. It's one of many reasons way are country ond the dollar are collapsing.
