I just used this on my red Ferrari F430, which already has excellent paint. The finish is absolutely incredible. It gleams like I’ve never seen before. I highly recommend this stuff.

Great video. Your explanations and recommendations really help a beginner like me since you review a lot of the products I use. Just finished my first detail on my car using a lot of your tips and I’m very pleased. It took a lot more time than I expected but well worth it after my first wash, sooooo much easier and what a shine it has now.

I rate this as a very fine wax my favourite and I rate it better than PS21 which many people love. Put it over the top of AG Super resin polish and it really glows. Thanks Sandro, Danny.

Auto Glym products are good; I bought a kit from my Skoda dealer and used just a few bits on Sunday; the way my car looked was worth every penny of it. And that was only the vinyl cleaner; shampoo and conditioner, and tire cleaner.

Regarding the slight loss of gloss after time, I suppose you could top it up with a high gloss spray sealant ? I apply HD wax with a damp small microfibre cloth, as I found the red sponges are a bit stiff and grabby and easy to drop, they made my fingers ache. Great video thanks.

G'day mate Autoglym products I have used for years your video was very good and I learnt to apply the wax in a different way as doing it in circles really hurts my hands because I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis also you explained how to wash the sponges. Thank you I have subscribed John Tasmania
Autoglym have brought out ULTRA HD wax & I'm starting to think it's all going crazy.
Have you tried it? Would you like to do a bonnet/test panel with side by side testing of SRP/HD/UHD - the usual test to destruction.... I have loved using SRP since the late 80's and I've not moved on with the times. But feel now there's hybrids and Si based or teflon armoured paint protection we put on - avoiding the expensive Si/Graphene coatings and seeking out a new way forward with modern materials is perhaps time for a change - but I'm not keen on change for change sake and maybe I'm missing a trick - but I've always used SRP as a very last step of 1, 2 or 3 steps in terms of correction/enchancement/protection.
I've seen people discuss the benefits of adding a wax over SRP to extend the durability..... but I'm not one for buying unnecessary insurance ontop of insurance (ie no claims discount protection we get in the UK).... which is a bit like putting wax ontop of SRP or am I missing a trick?

love the stuff.... and hardly any product gets used so in my eyes it works out better and cheaper than a lot of the so called high end waxes...cheers for the review...and car looks mint.

What are beading characteristics of that wax, or any for that mater?
And have you ever used Turtle waxes?
We have a lot of Turtle products that are very cheap. That said i am not sure about quality because low prices. Turtle wax in Serbia is something like 7 or 8 usd.
Also we have here chemical guys butter wet wax (liquid wax) that is 13 usd, and now i dont know i what to invest.

The HD wax is clearly one of the best wax in my opinion! The price is very correct. The hydrophobic power is awesome. In my package, the two foam sponges were placed in two independent pouches and were wet. Apparently, Autoglym recommends to humidify them slightly before using them. Also, I noticed that you really needed very little of wax to make a whole car (I think you put a little too much in your video :)), so it's a very economical product. Love your videos! Best from France :D
The only thing is it drys up after a few years. Swissvax doesn’t.

Another question, I got as a present a bottle of SENSHA Fine Crystal coat, but I also have the AutoGlym High Definition Wax... which one would you use, or is it ok to use the Wax first, and then spay the Fine Crystal?

silly question but if u want to remvoe all the old wax or whatever left from last year. could u wash the car with dish cap (since dish soap strips all that off)?

how often do you wax and do you ever layer it up as in wax your civic and and again before it actually needed doing (4 weeks for example)
I usually tend to wait until I see the wax loose it’s lustre and hydrophobic behaviour before replying it as I’m also interested to see how each wax goes down the track. On something like my old Civic that’s just a weekend driver and usually garaged the wax can easily last 6mths+, but on a daily driver that’s parked outside I’d definitely be reapplying it’s at least every 2-3months.

Autoglym themselves,recommend putting HD wax over super resin polish. That’s what I do and it is a great combination.
Great video Sandro is about 80 Honda is it single stage paint or clear coated the wax brought out some gloss looked great some high price wax in my world I to charge to much to make out it. Like. Swiiss vack or polish angel they supposed to have highest amount carnuba o r just high price think do enchantment buff would be better more profit for you and happy costumer. Thang for pad tips llast cut is. at. not bad price still cheaper bottle of Sonax perfect finish but the result. I get are instead three step you get show finish in two the price. ward it self. End result what matter that tell my customer don't worry about. Price the results will pay for self give higher blue book value

You mentioned that after a while it will lose its lustre, can you wax on top of this with Meguiars synthetic spray wax or William's waterless wash and wax for example just as a top up after each wash? Thanks mate.

Definitely the best wax you'll find over the counter! Zymol Carbon is an amazing wax around the same price! Definitely recommend you try it out! And very pleasant to use... and make a video on ;)

always seen this and was put off by the price. I get taken back when you see a wax on the retail level for $90 BUT it looks like its on the pro level so if its that good then $90 is not bad. I been giving a go w6 by scholl a go next might be this lol

after appling wax/sealant is a must to wash with PH neutral soap? high PH will remove tha wax/sealant?
ok, but my concern is if that soap will make a good job considering we have a lot of dust, rain, mud an my car after one week of daily use, even if I keep it in the garage, looks like yours car after month use usege :)

That is a great wax but often way too expensive! There are a lot of cheaper and better waxes out there. I think Autoglym only has one or two products that can be recommended, the rest are way too weak in performance and expensive.
What waste of quality wax on some old Chinese car. This wax is more suited for quality European cars.
I know about "quality european cars" and sure they are more reliable than chinese cars.. but you can't beat japanese for reliability 😉
