Kinda what I have been commenting on your channel over the past 2 years but went largely ignored.
I try to get to as many comments as I can. I do enjoy hearing the opinion of my viewers.
I agree comics are not Trix cereal (which is for kids and obviously comics are for everyone) but I do remember a time when comics could e found inside Trix and other cereal. 😂.

Comic books lack any kind of true advertisements from Marvel & DC. They need to promote them more, they need to hire celebs to talk about them, they need to sell them at Target & Walmart. They need to let people know that comics are cool because we currently live in a society that doesn't think comic books are cool at all, yet everyone thinks superhero movies are cool & they sell a trillion dollars. Well, where did these cool superheroes come from? From cool comic books!
Absolutely. There is a huge disconnect between the super hero genre and the actual comic book itself. But, I also think a part of this has to do with evolution. The floppy comic is obsolete in many ways, and I think that is just a reality that we will have to come to accept. BUT, what about the secondary market? And the collectibility of these "ancient relics?" These are still very popular for collectors, and continue to gain value over time, but the current values we see are simply impacted by an unorganic perception that is driven by social media echo chambers and also a e-commerce marketplace that perpetuates a skewed concept of scarcity.
@@JernosComicsPopCulture Also nowadays you kinda got choose between having a romantic life or collecting comic books. Nothing gets a 1st date "going" like her walking into your room & seeing a bunch of comics on the wall...lol
