- It's part 2 of the AC Valhalla vs RDR 2 comparison! Let's see which is the best in terms of player's actions! Yeah these two are not simple to compare because these are hugely different games in terms of gameplay and physics. But hope you can identify which is best in details and graphics. Here I have compared around 10 major and minor details between them.
Both games were recorded using Ultra setings in 1080p resolution.

The horseback riding sets RDR2 apart from every game with horses. Red Dead's horses act like real horses, Valhalla's are like bikes with four legs.

yes exactly, they just seem so real. i have different and unique bonds with all my rdr horses, and they’re just oddly filled with life
My horse fell off the cliff and i didn’t have any Horse reviver so i had to put it out of its misery... It was such a heartbreaking moment

Red Dead is one of the strongest games in history
Yeah, It's pretty good. Not as good as the first game imho but still a technical masterpiece.
It's technically the most impressive game of all Time - All these details, Phisics al, beautiful graphics...
But as game - i wouldn't put it in top 10. But It's still great

To be fair, Assassin's Creed seems to have really come through this time. While obviously not at the level of a Rockstar game, the fact that it's at least comparable at a much lower budget and dev count is a testament in itself.

What I mean to say (but not very well) is AC games are forced out quickly and often before they are ready which means the directors put a lot of their own time and effort into it. AC revelations modern day is the perfect example of this. The passion, quality, effort and time the AC developers put into the games is extraordinary and the AC games are only at the B+ that they are because of these develepors.
Rdr 2 is too much to handle for other games, the game is probably a decade or more ahead of its time

And the Best thing is while on some hardware, for examole 1650 super, you could play rdr on high and some settings even on ultra with 30 plus, while the Best in valhalla u can get is medium settings, i was dissapointed when bough the game

@@Vinicantstopcrying Personally I'd give it a 7.5/10. Why? Well, I personally thought the actual gameplay and story were great. It was fun to sneak around enemies and fun to shoot them in the face. Driving was fun too. And the story and side quests were amazingly written. But they cut too much content that they promised for it to be a 9 out of 10, and the bugs I hear from the console community sound pretty bad too so that also makes the score worse for me. (I play on PC so I don't really know if half of it is true or not because I hardly get bugs) If this game had all the promised content and fewer bugs for console players, it would be an easy 10 for me.

A game that claimed himself to be action adventure, Most immersive next generation game to date will get less than 5 if they can't even get their basic open world thingy right. They hyped their game next to GTA level and now they disappointed.
Do you know this game even outshine by android open world game made in 2013 ? Not to mention same goes GTA 3 to all other popular open world games that was released. So many comparison videos. Go check them.
This game doesn't have NPC AI, Vehicle AI, Super lame physics, No police car chase, No water physics at all, Lame police instant spawn like teleporting, Not enough side activites, No customizations and just dead open world. The story is okay and nothing like witcher 3 quality where you can be only satisfied just by story and forget everything else. Not even close.
I won't even mention the bugs. Just the mechanisms that sucks.
It's just a 5/10 game which is an embarrassment.
@@VinicantstopcryingJust a quick little counter to some of your points: It does have customization. Character creation, weapon customization, and clothes customization. The water part really isn't noticeable at all because there are hardly any quests where you swim. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing since quests that involve swimming are usually boring, so you be the judge on that. For the side activities, there isn't much less than what GTA V has tbh. Besides some of the activities you can do with your buddies like drinking, you really only have the strip club which Cyberpunk has I think. Or if not I know it at least has some "joy toys". While yeah, the police kind of suck, they at least go away quickly so you don't have to deal with them too much. And the world isn't that dead, I've definitely seen some scripted stuff happen on the streets. The rest of the points you brought up I can back and agree with though.
However, I still stick with my 7.5/10. The game's story and its 80 sidequests are all amazing and to me, on par with The Witcher 2's story. Maybe not The Witcher 3's, but definitely The Witcher 2's. and that's good. I came into this game wanting a good story and ended it satisfied. And again, its actual gameplay i.e. driving and shooting are fun. The stealth is fun, hacking is fun, and the balls to the wall shootouts are fun. Night City also blows Los Santos out of the water in terms of how it's built. It's just such a good city. Also, the voice acting is pretty good imo.
I think a 5/10 is a little harsh when it delivers so well in all of the things other than the niche NPC's and Activities.
But you are entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine so let's just agree to disagree.
I'm willing to debate if you feel like it, though.
Ac Valhalla is well made but nothing beats details and physics from Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games really made an amazing game.
I think one of the main reasons is Rockstar's use of the Euphoria physics engine, it like 1000 years ahead of it's time

Valhalla is a well worth game though its story is like twice as long as Odysseys so if you do you better buckle in cause its gonna take a long time to do everything in it

If you want to play an ac game, try ac 4 black flag(its from 2014 but thr graphics are good), its about pirates and the story is really good and soundtracks too.
Ac origins from 2017 its another great game, its about Egypt, the graphis are nice and the story its good, but this ac is more like a rpg well executed.
Ac Odyssey from 2019 i think its about Greek and the graphics are good too, this ac is like a rpg too and the game is really long, longer than rdr2 and you have 2 characters to play
And ac valhalla has better graphics than ac origins and odyssey, good story, and its a bit longer than ac odyssey

they care about making money and releasing games as fast as possible, more than caring for the game itself, R* can pump games on a yearly basis but they will be unoptimized/heavy and short like what ubisoft does
R* Narration and storyboarding is unparalleled for rdr2 atm, AC series has a nice story, but not legendary.

I still cannot get over Ac Valhalla's water. On Sunday I visited a lake in my region and with the wind and such it looked just like the game. The way the water moves, the way it reacts to bodies, everything. Ubisoft is the best water designer out there since Watch Dogs 1.

We must remember Red Dead Redemption 2 took over 8 years to make compared to Assassins Creed Valhalla which took 3 years to make. And considering the great minds of Rockstar were making it all those years you have to appreciate the amazing amount of detail that was put into making Assassins Creed Valhalla. Of course Red Dead was gonna look better. They are both amazing games with a good story. They both make you think and evaluate your life more than teachers and therapists will ever do. So for that I thank Rockstar and Ubisoft.
Yhea, Vallhala has a lot of details. Same happened with Origins when it comes out. But as a game, I would say Ubisoft make repetitive games, and really recycled. I like Origins, it was a really good change for the AC saga. But the next games are the same. A big map doesn't meant more fun. Is tedious, and storyline is really simple. I won't hate Ubisoft, because I recognize that it has good things, but really a few.
After AC1 everything is full of bad Hollywood actors, and the story is exactly the same.

Fishing in red dead is on another level I wasted a lot of time fishing for the legendary ones enjoyable as hell
I was playing red dead on my ps4 pro and my parents came in during a shootout and started asking which movie i was watching, i just sat there looking at them showed the controller and laughed they were like...wut the hell that's a game??!!
Anyway they sat next to me and watched me playing and commenting for about an hour on how good it looked.
And when i got the game they kept asking me you keeping Arthur fed well, he bathing enough, and man...when he died they couldn't believe it, neither did i...no game ever got tears out of me but damn...the most perfect story, voice actors and plot along with gameplay, details and everything...ever
Every now and then a game comes along that feels like an evolution of its genre, Red Dead 2 really felt like it pushed open world gaming to a new level. I’ve put an insane amount of hours into the game because I love the ridiculous level of detail, the combat is great (in my opinion), graphics looked amazing, and the open world itself is just incredible. No two places are the same and every area of the map has so many secrets and Easter eggs to uncover. With all the time I’ve spent with the game I kind of feel bad for some people that have only scratched the surface.
Cyberpunk also pushed gaming.... just in the wrong direction..... back to the 1990s.

The one problem with ubisoft is that their ragdolls are too bad, the task is sketchy, repetitive is no different from a mobile game which makes me bored playing AC, FC and WD.

i agree 100%! nothing wrong with being able to acknowledge your favorite games strong points and weaker points, and valhalla’s rowing felt more realistic, especially when backing up and pushing off the rock

AC is not Like Rockstar's Games, GTA or Ded Dead has a Multiplayer Mode so There's no need to Make for Example New GTA soon cuzz they are focused on Multiplayer, they got money so They don't much care since New GTA will require a lot of money to waste on it!
AC is Focused only on Singleplayer, no Open World Multiplayer so after year or two Ubisoft Releases new AC Game just because of Story, Open World has a lot of Details so I played almost every AC and every is very unique!

In terms of details , witcher 3 doesn't come close to rdr2. All those minute details, character movements, the way environment reacts, animals, npcs, weather , physics is close to real in rdr2. Witcher 3 has awesome storyline and characters but it still feels like a game.

The whole Valhalla experience is very glitchy and underworked. In RDR2, on the other hand, animations are so smooth and ironed out.

@@prometheus705 It's historical bruh, yeah it has fantasy elements but they are related to mythology of that time period so it's fine.
If they just make there gameplay grounded... It's gonna be the best... That's the only issue that I have with these games as of now. Narrative is solid in the previous entries so I don't have much problems with it.
RDR2 is a masterpiece, what Rockstar has achieved in 8 years is unbelievable when you compare it to Cyberpunk. And Rockstar started developing RDR2 before the PS4 was out.
Rdr2 still looks looks a bit better imo, but we must not forget rockstar took 8 years to release it, while AC Valhalla took less than 3 years. If there weren't companies like ubisoft who release games quickly we would probably get bored playing the same games everytime **cough** GTA V **cough**
Rockstar takes a quality over quantity approach.
Where as you find pretty average games from ubisoft that aren't really memorable.
Rdr1+2 GTA SA and 5 are legendary games.
Imo valhalla looks cheap in comparison to RDR2. RDR2 is decades ahead of it's time.

RDR2 definitely did it better. Not that ACV was bad, because it definitely wasn't, it's just that Rockstar simply sets the bar so damn high.
Red dead was the best and most complete story mode I’ve ever played
RDR2 has the best horse mechanics. Like you can feel the weight of the horse while riding it. But AC valhalla lacks that weight. It is very unsatisfactory after you play RDR 2. But AC valhalla performs the best where it has to! Both games are great!
Before comparing RDR2 and Valhalla here's a fun fact: development time of rdr 2 is 8 years at the same time Valhalla was made in only 2 and a half year 😃

RDR2 is better to me. Valhalla was good... until I could not progress due to a bug. It took them over a month to fix it, so i never beat it, I was too disgusted.

I’m surprised with how well Valhalla kept up! Ubisoft must focus on quality more than milking. Its amazing what they can produce in 2 years, imagine what they could do if they put their heart into it like Rockstar does!

AC Valhalla looks great and I can’t wait to play it on the PS5, but RDR2 holds a special place in my heart that no other game will be able to match.
