It's pretty cool that Sethos doesn't need his burst and instead his energy is just a resource for his main damage of charge attacks. Also just love how you and your friends were able to find this style pf play for him. I think it's fascinating how almost every character has something they can add to the game.

Hi Furu, thanks for making this video, love to see EMC getting the spotlight! Regarding combo with EMC, you can either do as you said in the video, slowly collecting the amulets, or you do this: Empty Sethos' burst first with one rotation, switch to EMC and uses E, switch to Sethos to immediately collect all the amulets and uses his E. His burst will be full right away! (best to build EMC with fav so those particles also get to Sethos). Best part about EMC kit is that she gives so much energy and ER that Sethos won't need to build ER himself, so he can put all resources into dmg. You can also try using both Fischl AND EMC to give him even more energy! But team need Baizhu for heal and shield. No need to slowly walk towards the amulet because Fischl's particle will fill up Sethos' burst. Sethos charged attack also proc Fischl's A4 a lot. I can consistently do up to 19 charged attacks per rotation if not interrupted, start every rotation even at 0 energy. But I have pepehands though. Ambers main should be much better than me. been a while since seeing you yea. Electro Traveler is just the best at sustaining his playstyle, not boosting his dmg for screenshot so people's opinion might differ ; ) Personally i like her slot being fixed.

Damn... that charged (hold) cancel playstyle is amazing. I really think Sethos is the real hidden 5* of Version 4.7 to be honest. He is so much fun to play with all those different playstyles.
For me, my Sethos team consists of Electro Traveler(C4, Isshin Blade), Sethos(C0, New 4.7 event Bow), Xingqiu(C2, Sacrificial Sword) and Baizhu(C0, Sacrificial Fragments). In my team: Sethos is my main DPS which I never use his normal charge attack, instead I use his elemental skill and burst only. Baizhu is for healing and Dendro support. I mainly have to protect Baizhu at all costs. Xingqiu is hydro support and I usually use his burst along with Sethos’s to deal maximum damage. Then my Traveler mainly helps my Xingqiu to recharge his burst, so that everytime before I burst with Sethos, I can burst my Xingqiu first. And yes, my Traveler is can used as a meat shield to take all the fire from enemies as others need elemental skill cool-down.
Yes, the conclusion for now is Dori not sufficient at sustaining Sethos by herself. She could be played in tandem with either emc or fischl for energy comfort or more lvl 2 focused gameplans. Thanks!
I was going to try him as a Electro Yoimiya with his Burst. With This team… ( Weapons & Artifacts is based on what works for me ) 1. Yoimiya - 4x Crimson + Hamayumi 2. Noelle - 2x Husk 2x Defender + Favonius 3. Thoma - 4x Emblem + The Catch 4. Sethos - 4x Wanderer + Sacrificial or Favonius Noelle is here for extra Shielding in case the enemy is immune to pyro or Thoma’s shield breaks. You could change out Noelle for Chevreuse if you want OR change Yoimiya for Xingqiu Chevreuse - 2x Maidens 2x Golden Troupe + Dialogues of Desert Sages Xingqiu - 4x Emblem + Favonius
If you cancel the third attack of his burst charge attack string by walking forward (like Ningguang's walk cancel for her attacks) you can actually output more damage during his burst since it doesn't have the long wind up of his usual N3. (I believe IwintoLosegaming talks about it in his video on sethos) Just a neat tip for anyone interested

Dori on her own does not supply enough for Sethos' level 1 CA spam. But she can work for CA level 2 I guess, or work in tandem with other Electros like Fischl or EMC for complete energy comfort. Cheers!
not at all. The lvl 1 CA tech makes him exceptional on single target but there will still be cases you want to deal with multiple enemies. Personally I think his burst is the redundant thing, and the energy should be spent on either spamming lvl 1, or clearing multiple enemies with level 2. cheers!
Tf also works with reducing the skill cooldown but i think it might fit a rotation where Sethos shoots less. Wanderer is my goto for damage I'd say for now

It is less dizzy when you play it because you know where to focus, in contrary to watching it. I'm not used to doing it either yet i can still pull it off for a bit ; )
great magic in triple electro comp, slingshot sounds good as free to play option too as he can abuse no ICD. Hunter's Path also seems good as he has pretty decent EM scaling ; ) c3 Sethos seems to be most important while c4 and c6 is not as much imo.

Fischl is 2nd best for continuous Sethos shoots if we disregard damage anyway. If you shoot around 20 times using Fischl there'll be like 4 white dmg shots. Cheers!

You have been warned that Dori's energy generation by herself isn't sufficient to maintain the playstyle. But sure, Dori Fischl probably work well for him in a triple electro setting.
on mobile you can just turn on Burst and play the friendly normal attack spammage. It is still playable. I know certain people who can play hold cancel on phones normally but yea I'd also think they are rare.
He feels clunky to play, like you're constantly having to monitor his energy consumption and regen and in difficult scenarios that's just irritating. Probably easier to use him multi-target and leave it at that tbh. I'd rather play Lisa or Razor in 4* single target Electro tbh
I don't know, personally i think he reaches a higher ceiling than Lisa or Razor when it comes to aggravate by doing this. And he can do AoE shots if needed too. I can see how his playstyle can be a bother to many people, but what a character can do and what a player can do isn't essentially the same. Cheers ; )

A character with piercing capabilities is basically just a byword for diminished value when it comes to single-target scenarios. Would be easier to just play a character that's better at doing single-target stuff. Most of the game's content doesn't favour single-target that much anyway since they feel the need to shove endless multi-wave crap down our throats from now into the foreseeable future.

Someone telling me "Neuvilette better you should just play Barbara as a healer" would not deter me from playing the game the way I like. Anyway, it is up to individuals to play the game the way they like. I do respect your way of thinking about it. All I can do on my end though, is to show my audience what I think as unique and interesting.

Yes it is recommended to do N2W if you're playing Burst Sethos. I was more focused on the non Burst Sethos didn't point it out. Good job!

How are u even doing that cancels so fast, is there a trick to it?
i'm just doing normal hold cancel with mouse. I think it is just about the rhythm and timing which anyone can do after some tries. Good luck!

He feels clunky to play, like you're constantly having to monitor his energy consumption and regen and in difficult scenarios that's just irritating. Probably easier to use him multi-target and leave it at that tbh. I'd rather play Lisa or Razor in 4* single target Electro tbh
I don't know, personally i think he reaches a higher ceiling than Lisa or Razor when it comes to aggravate by doing this. And he can do AoE shots if needed too.
I can see how his playstyle can be a bother to many people, but what a character can do and what a player can do isn't essentially the same. Cheers ; )
@@furu212 Seems like a waste to not really just play as the devs intended. A character with piercing capabilities is basically just a byword for diminished value when it comes to single-target scenarios. Would be easier to just play a character that's better at doing single-target stuff. Most of the game's content doesn't favour single-target that much anyway since they feel the need to shove endless multi-wave crap down our throats from now into the foreseeable future.
@@offbrandbiscuit it is a matter of taste more like a matter of being intended. Barbara isn't intended to be a dps yet I use her like that all the time. Someone telling me "Neuvilette better you should just play Barbara as a healer" would not deter me from playing the game the way I like.
Anyway, it is up to individuals to play the game the way they like. I do respect your way of thinking about it. All I can do on my end though, is to show my audience what I think as unique and interesting.
