Check her live performances as well, they are so energetic! Never seen an artist communicating with the audience (often in huge venues) so sincerely, honestly and passionately ... and she's always cheek by jowl with the crowds!

Revolution, and Ai Otsuka were some of the ones I fondly remember in the late 90s and early 2000s. For J-Rock, I mostly listened to X-Japan, Dir en Grey, L'Arc-en-Ciel, and a few others but my boomer brain has forgotten the names. Sadly, I've only been keeping up with Shiina Ringo these days. I always wondered if LiSA was inspired by Ayumi and how LiSA has kinda taken the same path as Ayumi by becoming a global icon in the music world.

I don't know if you like anime or not, but LiSA has had her songs used for several show's theme songs besides Demonslayer. Have you for example heard of the very popular anime Sword art Online? LiSA has made the theme songs for just about all of the seasons, movies and variants of Sword Art Online. This song for instance is the theme for Sword art Online: the movie, "Ordinal Scale". 🙂
This has to be one of the worst versions of the song by LiSA. She's her usual great self lugging along the two overly polite duds behind her who can't even come close to keeping up with her explosive drive. I recommend the version on her channel or in the movie that featured this song
