Great video! This style is much better than the “F” clips or aka, “Madison Bars”. The only downside it’s probably only a one time use box since you will lose the spring clip once you try to remove the box from the wall. Knowing me, I would try to use a magnet on a string to retrieve the spring clip at the bottom of the wall and use it again! Thanks!

I saw a octagon box with those "wings". I am installing a 3 light wall/vanity fixture that is a bit on the heavy side. I wasn't comfortable with a standard 3 flap style. Thanks for the detailed installation tips. 😊

Simple enough to remove the box, remove the ears completely but you will lose the ears unless you attach it somehow to the box with a wire before hand.

i wish iberville made a hybrid box with the tabs of the BC777-LRB but with the internal dimensions of the BC1104-LRW. I find the 777 a tad too small for fancy/smart/usb receptables or more connections.
Losing the wings/ears in the wall is annoying indeed. Attaching is a good idea.
If anyone is trying to attach those boxes to a thicker wall (e.g. like 2x firerated 5/8” drywall between condo units), you’ll have to swap out the screws for longer ones. The 777 uses four #6-32 bolts, and the 1104 uses a single #8-32.

I don't believe so with that bracket. You will have to use "F" clips if you want to have more than one gang
