Working from Home has become the norm these days and hence an aesthetic home office which is inspiring is key for a productive WFH setup. Watch this video to know how we did an extreme makeover of a small corner of our bedroom which was a dull and boring home office to an Instagram / Pinterest worthy one. This DIY makeover is renter and budget friendly with easily available materials.

Idea is truly amazing🙌....my doubt is what if you have pasted required colour wallpaper directly on to the wall?
Indeed I have mentioned that in the video the easiest is just to directly paste the decal if you get it in the colour you like... I didn't so decided to paint... In some places decals in the arch shape are readily available as well 👍

It is very stable, just that it's smaller than what I would imagine an ideal desk should be but worth the buy for us!

Lovely! Just wondering though - will the paint peel off when you remove the wallpaper?
Well these wall decals promise not to damage walls, and so far in my experience decal adhesives are safe, but ideal you do a patch test with the product you buy, peel and check before covering larger areas
It is very easy to get all the stuff you used to decorate your place if you have access to Daiso which provides really good stuff at very reasonable price. It will be difficult to get all this stuff under one roof as Daiso in India and that too at such a reasonable price.
Agree that Daiso is cheap. But can find similar or better stuff in India as well at similar price. Just that it may not be all available in one place 😅

Hahah if you have space you can do that too... in fact I found there are arch wall decals available in some places now you can check online for that too and avoid painting altogether

brilliant idea .i was searching for ideas to fix the floating shelves.epoxy glue is new to me .will try it out :) thank you .
You can also try E6000 that's faster drying than epoxy and use it with some quick fix for it to quickly take hold

Absolutely and I've mentioned that too in the video, and shortly after the video I found out in some places you actually get arch wall decal 😅 so definitely there are easier options if you can find the kind of colour you want
Madam I have one doubt I too live in rented house while removing the wall paper does the original paint come of I wanted try the same and your idea of this is mindblasting
In this video itself I have shown removing the extra wall sticker after sticking it. It didn't do any damage to the wall. However, I suggest you do a patch test as the quality of the wall sticker and wall paint might be different. Do let me know how it goes, good luck 😀

Really creative and awesome ideas for decoration...but is it possible to color a wallpaper surface?
Fair point, in our case we used a sort of matt, textured wallpaper we had remaining from the dining area project and the paint stuck to it very easily just that we needed a couple of coats to hide the brick pattern... however if the wallpaper is super glossy or that sort of finish it might be a problem to paint.

It was mostly ok but it did peel off in parts, I simply used some wall putty to touch it up, you can check the unmaking video for all the details :)

Love the idea. But my fear is wouldn’t the paint on the wall come out along with the wallpaper?
Ideally good quality decal adhesive should not damage paint which is why they are considered renter-friendly but I suggest doing a patch test on a smaller area with the product you purchase before covering larger areas :)

@@Riya-l3c Hi Garima, as for Amazon purchases they are a bit of a try first and find out later scenario... maybe big brands like Asian Paints can be better trusted when it comes to quality, they have peel and stick wallpaper maybe you could check that out, I'm yet to :)
