Styling a small rental living room presents its own challenges. This is a space where you spend a lot of family time and this is my humble attempt at making our living space truly unique and personal. In this video, I show you 4 different styles to decorate your living room and make it look totally different and unique. Using simple soft furnishings, wall painting/frames and DIY decor ideas each look has a different colour scheme and feel. You too can easily use these ideas to refresh your living room, add a more cohesive design and do so on a realistic budget and timeframe.

All of them have such a unique charm in them. The first is a refreshing look and blue is my fav color so last is a year round look. Red maybe during festival season and the yellow is beautiful and modern as well. Loved them all!

I loved all the looks but currently my favourite is lovely blues which i have implemented in my living room❤️
Yes blue is classy, but you can try different themes as per seasons / festivals

I love it all, can’t choose! But I don’t have to worry about choosing…my husband and I will have to wait 15 years before our kid moves out hahaha! It has no use to have a 10 min perfect look of the room and then have the little tornado come in.

Hahha, Kids are definitely a deciding force to reckon with while doing up the home... when our lil one was born we rid the home of all decorative items and that is how it was until he turned 3 when we slowly started bringing back stuff... he likes to see well kept spaces and already has strong opinions in terms of design so it's easy for me to do what I want with the house ... but as far as organizing goes he is allowed to keep his room like it's tornado season all year around... toys in other parts of the home are open to be donated :P so he is careful with that!

Thank you and in case buying sofa is an issue you can always do a nice Diwan set up on the floor, I personally love floor seating that you can do even with inexpensive straw mats and cushions 💛
