How long do you have to leave the clips in before taking them out?
I personally use a blow dryer and wait till the locs feel dry.
You can used a hooded dryer and it ranges depending on the clients loc amount, texture, size and density. His locks in particularly dried completely with 30 mins.
But it’s ranges between 30mins-1.5hrs depending on the device you are using. A hooded dryer will get you optimal results in comparison to a blow dryer. A blow dryer will take a really long time and will give you uneven and inconsistent results.

How do i apply the shampoo and the other stuff?
I have a problem because I’m always active in the gym… and the sweat really breaks up the retwist….. is it better to crochet retwist with longer and thicker locs?
Yes! It’s better to crotchet, interlock and instant loc if you actively sweat, move around a lot, swim or don’t want to deal with maintenance when it gets wet.
