  • The P40 Warhawk was a sturdy and rugged aircraft that saw combat in almost every theatre in World War 2, but was overshadowed in history by more elegant
    and advanced designs.
    Join me in this video as I build the Tiger Model cute plane series model kit of this unassuming, yet important aircraft.

    I have recently bought the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, and I must say, it was probably my best purchase yet :D I doesnt leave any marks on the plastic besides making it a bit glossy, but that wont matter after the model is painted.

      Wait question: do you need glue for this set or can it snap fit?

    • @ModelMinutes
      @ModelMinutes  5 лет назад +1

      It looks as though it would just clip together, i used cement out of habit. The smaller parts might need a little cement to help them stay on, but the larger parts went together well without it

    To use the vernacular of Northern England, the P40 was built like a brick shithouse...
    Great fun kit 👍
    Make modelling fun 😃

      Hmm, that's a hard choice! They're similar in quality and build style, but i think i prefer the look of the cuteplanes :)

    I was really hoping you could build the Air fix Phantom FG one I’m currently finished building and so far it’s a good fit details are really good it has a lot of parts but it’s easy to put together a little putty needed I’m 15 and I was able to put it together in two weekends

    If you made this thing in real life and full scale it could tecnically fly if you get it going *really* fast. Would not want to land it tho.

    • @ModelMinutes
      @ModelMinutes  3 года назад +1

      You know how to fly?!
      Fly, yes. Land, no

    • @alfepalfe

      @@ModelMinutes I kind of know how to fly I know basic controls of aircraft and the saab 37 viggen I even know how to do a stratup (thx to simulators.) I am not a pilot as I am 14 and that is to young to fly solo in my country however I have flown a glider in once (with a real pilot next to me of course.) When I am 18 I will try to join the airforce however that is hard but worth trying.
      I actually have a video of me flying the saab 37 viggen in a simulator here. ruclips.net/video/JGy923ckhb0/видео.html

      Pc Plod it gets a bad rap, but aside from the fuselage and engine fitting issues which just need sanding and filler it’s not too shabby.

    • @ModelMinutes
      @ModelMinutes  5 лет назад

      Sounds like a challenge

    • @Simon-sv6qe
      @Simon-sv6qe 5 лет назад +1

      cerperalpurpose unfortunately there’s more to it I have built one it’s has raised pannel lines fitting issues everywhere and the exhaust outlets are extremely bare and look like something you’d get on a cheap toy I ended up replacing mine with resin parts also the landing gear is all wrong and I had to replace those aswell with white metal components also the nose weight recommended is not enough I ended up having to fill the entire nose with lead fish weights
