I am a male (amateur) gymnast training with the Beijing team. I can see how many gymnasts are so good at tumbling in most cases (great techniques, great explosive power etc.). For Simone, I don't understand. Like I literally cannot see anyone even start to train some of the tumbling even for men.

Rebeca is only better than an injured or non hit Simone, which is good for her because no other gymnast could hardly win even when Simone makes mistakes. Congrats to Rebeca for the gold but to the people saying she’s the best floor worker is just wrong. It would be different if Rebeca beat Simone if Simone hit but she didn’t. No one will be over Simone on floor or All around until they beat her while she hits, until then if they beat her when she makes mistakes, it’s not that impressive.

Her start value is a lot higher than other gymnasts ergo she can afford a few errors without it affecting her score much, please do some research before getting on here and clearly showing you don't know how the COP works in gymnastics 😩😩😩
She won because she scored the most points, should someone else who had less difficulty won? Maybe you should brush up on gymnastics scoring before you comment and then double down after someone clearly explained it to you

She has a turn on one leg and if you know gymnastics you know that Simones tumbeling is much more difficult than Rebecas
Her tumbling is alot more complicated than Rebecca's even with this being her watered down routine. Ergo she gets a higher start value.
