  • Beef Cannelloni is what’s cooking today. The Brooklyn Brothers show you how to make the perfect meat cannelloni. This meat cannelloni recipe is easy, tasty, and sure to be a crowd pleaser. Baked cannelloni originated in Naples, Italy, which was invented by Nicola Federico back in 1907. Although, the pasta tubes used for the original cannelloni recipe has a smooth surface, we used manicotti tubes, which have a ridged surface because they are much easy to come by in just about any grocery store. Trust us, you really can’t tell the difference.

    Pappa Paul and Chef Dom I just love you guys you cook the same exact way I do. My father was Naples. You guys work together great lots of laughs and busting balls. That’s how me and my 3 brothers are just like you guys. I watched every daddy Jack recipes he made me and my wife since we were both retired we used to stay up till 2:00 watching him cook. Guys one of the episode he came down to your moms house in Brooklyn and your mom made a feast for Dominic and Jack himself. Hey your brother had some big aperture . Then kitchen was small for everybody to eat especially for Jack and Dominic, but your poor mom made 3 lbs veal cutlets, meatballs, brocioles, macaroni and big salad.What a beautiful lady and mom you guys have. Now it’s your turn to take care of your mom and make all the great recipes you guys make. Give a big kiss yo your mom.

      @@BrooklynBrothersCooking do you have a recipe for prosciutto bread? It took me forever to get one from Brooklyn, last summer all I did was bake prosciutto bread for everyone, the dumbest thing I did was tell my family and friends that I finally knew how to make it, everyone wanted it, let me tell you, very very expensive bread to make! 🙄

    Just a thought. Your recipes are so amazing, you should have a much larger subscriber base. Was wondering if it would help if you made family size recipes instead of big restaurant size ones....like maybe in a 9 x 13 dish. Hope you don't mind me mentioning that. 😀

      I have often thought about that. May need to rethink the portions, so The recipes would be geared towards smaller portions. We appreciate your input!

      Sorry, but I have to laugh a little to myself. In my house restaurant size IS family size! Lol 🤣Also, everyone…especially me appreciates the left overs. Most times it’s better the day after too! If nothing else, and you don’t like having the same dish more than once, remember most baked Italian foods freeze very nicely. Cook once, eat twice! 🙋🏻‍♀️❤️

    Absolutely love the videos guys. Is the 88oz of sauce shared in the video the suggested amount for the bottom of the pan only or is 88 oz enough for the bottom base and the tops for all 4 pans of Cannellonis (or was it Cannolis 🤣)? Thank You!

    • @BrooklynBrothersCooking
      @BrooklynBrothersCooking  Год назад +1

      The sauce covers top and bottom of all the cannolis lol.

      I made the Cannelloni for Sunday dinner along with your tomato sauce. They turned out great. I like your recipe of not totally covering up the Cannelloni with sauce and cheese so it shows off the dish more. Plus I think the overall flavors are better that way. Thanks again.
