Is that really what it looks like when you look through your binoculars? How do you guys do that. All I ever get is a circle. Like a monocular.

I’ve had a mission sub 1 Xr going on 2nd season starting this season and been using them rage hypodermics for years and years and family uses them to they are nasty and animals never leave our site when we shoot them if they do get out of site the blood trial is so large you could close your eyes and follow it

Man I've got one question for you why in the world are you out there with like a $1,500 crossbow with a Red Dot why would you not have that nice Hawk scope on that crossbow

I had the crossbow set up for elk hunting and prefer one pin or dot/ cross hair because the crossbows shoot so flat out to forty five yards and I find when yardage changes quickly when an animal is moving, it is easier for me to make that adjustment by aiming hi or low as the yardage changes. I am very comfortable out to seventy yards. I have friends who have set up the yardage on their turrets on traditional scopes and they are deadly on much further ranges but I find that with elk hunting in particular, it is easy to line up on the wrong cross hair or not have time to adjust your range on the scope.

@@passionforthehunt3493 Absolutely! Nothing works better than one pin or red dot. Less complicated FOV. Also, red dot much lighter then a scope and when hiking in 1lb lighter xbow makes a huge difference.

Cause that’s what he likes and he is confident in using. Along with if the red dot also has auto laser range finder in it it will auto adjust the red dot for the proper yardage where the factory hawk doesn’t do this you have to range animal then get on target and choose the distance to shoot through all them numbers and lines stacked in the scope . Elk hunting or spot stalk hunt anything is fast pace when its shot time not quite as layed back as stand hunting animals.

Uncomfortable? Just think I you had to pull a bow back?

+russ sheridan I was referring to carrying and handling, I find a bow much more comfortable to carry and stalk with and more comfortable shooting off hand. I personally like hunting with a bow more but had never hunted with a cross bow and wanted to experience that.
