With Blazer mids, I’ve noticed that different material combinations will fit differently. The ones with the the “leather” on the back panel where NIKE is written out fit smaller. The blazer mids with the knit panel on the back fit longer. Maybe they’re made in different factories? I dunno

I'm rocking some 6 hole Ventures I got from a board in a second hand shop. Cost me about 7 bucks total (the complete board) and have never been grinded :D Green baseplate and white hanger.
Shoe sizing drives me nuts, Ive had like 7 pairs of dunks all size 11 and they all fit differently its ridiculous. I still havent tried the blazers but those ones look nice!
For what it’s worth, I’ve been dealing with the same shoe issue recently! I’ve been a size 10 since high school and recently had to start picking up 10.5
It might be worth trying to relace your shoes that are too short. I'm almost always in between sizes and sometimes relaxing or tightening the laces from the bottom to the top can help compensate.

@@bendegros agree 100%. When I skate with others I spend most of the time talking or trying 100 different tricks that we end up talking about and not focusing on anything in particular. When I skate alone I usually go to a specific spot or park to really push myself on just a couple of tricks I'm trying to learn/improve.
I love shell toes too. If they were a bit bulkier and more durable (specially around the ankle), they'd probably be like my top 3 favorite shoes to skate. Some heelflip variations aren't as great on them imo and I get an ollie hole super fast
It is true! Fluid collects in the feet, and then when you lay down the fluid will equilibriate. Look at anyone with congestive heart failure for an extreme example - because the heart isn't able to pump as efficiently it's hard to push fluid back up the veins in your legs which can lead to other problems. Pretty sure it’s not the dryer… you go ahead and hot wash your garment then let it cold dry… it will be shrunk. We don’t have a dryer and my wife shrinks my jumpers regular

I am currently wearing the Busenitz Vulc 2 and I was really worried when I ordered them because in the review video they said true to size and that the guy with wide feet is comfortable. So I ordered 9.5 like I always do with vulcs. I’m a 10 in cupsoles. Then I saw reviewers saying order a half size up and that they’re slightly narrow. Luckily they fit perfectly and I love them. Even though they’re a vulc they remind me of my Emerica Reynolds G6. They don’t feel like you’re walking barefoot while still offering great board feel. Also idk what they did with the venting but I actually feel air flowing through them like I do in my vented motorcycle boots. So if you end up looking for a new shoe give them a shot and lmk what you think because I’d love to hear your opinion.
8:59 After learning this trick in the 90s I disliked any trick where your toes hung off of the board, because I dislike it so much. Took a bit to learn, you can't do anything with it, it ugly, and it's uncomfortable. I mean, look at his back foot, sooo natural feeling! I still have some residual ick when it comes to tricks where your toes hang off of the board, too.
Companies like Nike and Adidas save on material costs if they slowly make their shoes narrower and shorter. I can't wear either because of the sizing, but when I was trying to make Blazers work at one point, they absolutely were not consistently sized. I found a pair/colorway that happened to fit perfectly, but that was something like one out of five.
Showing my age but the new shoes remind me of the 80s leather Adidas Rome"s. Oh Ben, this is not supposed to happen to you now being so young but in old age your foot size will change plus your ears and nose gets bigger too.. 😢 But id say they have changed the foot bed tooling as i have 2 pairs of Superga skate shoes. Both the same size, 36eu and supposed to be the same shoes but one is canvas and the new ones are to narrow in the shoe box bit but the leather ones ive had for about 12 months as my every day street shoes where/are a perfect fit from day one off the shelf. Im not accounting for leather stretching either as they fitted like a glove day 1.. I hate these canvas ones and have them packed with wet news paper 🤞 You should concider sending all your leather ones that are half a size to small to one of those shoe repair/ key cutting kiosks as they have all the proper lasts that are adjustable to your needs to streach most shoes out by a half size easy in length and withed, both or one or the other and they put leather softener stuff on them so when there being stretched, the painted leather wont crack so bad. Ehh, maybe try one pair and see if you get what you want out of them and if your happy, get the rest done. I get my doc Martins done there and have done for like 20 years as im a half size and there either that tad half size to small that breaking them in is a nightmare but if i go up a size.... clown shoes.. they dont do half size broad fits. I have broad feet and hardly ever can get anything to fit straight off the shelf so i know your problem your are encountering now very well. When i do it at home, you have to soak in hot water and pack them out with tight wet news paper . Jam it in HARD then let them dry over a few days to a week befor taking out the news paper. As im lazy, the shoe guy does most of my shoes as he does a better job with the right tools for the right job.
Menuuuuuuuuu yeah homie, I'm more a fan of The Drive myself, but you do you dawg. 🤟 I love skating the Superstars for the flick but they are the most uncomfortable shoes ever, and do fit small in general 😅

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this but you should ignore the US and UK sizing and focus on the Japanese sizing, I had loads of issues out of nowhere with shoes not fitting and then I found out about Japanese sizing (always included on a label in the shoe) it stays consistent regardless of the US and UK sizing. Find a pair of shoes that fit you perfectly, check the JPN size and stick to that 👍
