My Level 1 Tiefling Rouge has 20 in charisma, that is his base stat because I originally rolled an 18. He is the first character I ever made and the dice rolls I got were all 6’s for my first ever roll and according to the person I made my character with he is by all accounts broken as a beginner character. @@dubsquad156 A necromancer? That would typically be a wizard subclass, which is an Int based spell caster. Were you thinking something like a Warlock of The Undead build? That could be a lot of fun, combining Sneak Attack with Form of Dread. That said, that is less a Necromancer, in the sense of creating and controlling the undead. It is more like becoming a Lich or some sort of Ghast - a literally half-alive, half-undead abomination. You can learn spells like Summon Undead starting when you get 3rd level pact slots, but they have some limited utility for folks that aren't Necro Wizards (who get a lot of buffs for their skelie summons). Not trying to second guess you decisions or anything, as I think people should always play what they want, but figured I would let you know what you are in for. If you have a nice DM who doesn't mind fudging the rules a little, you can maybe see if they will let you use your Sneak attack dice on Eldritch Blasts, so long as all other prerequisites for a ranged sneak attack are met. Would make you pretty deadly with a good party to set you up.
I love that part of Caleb’s characterization is casually knowing things that happened in our world, so every few sentences to a fourth wall break that get interpreted as common knowledge.

The healer in my campaign just joined the group, we were all so relieved to finally have a healer around. She hasn't healed anyone once and last session she panicked when she got low on health and started asking us for help to be met with a resounding ...YOU'RE the healer.
Also our tank stays back and uses her bow most of the time... And the ranger does not. The other members of the group are an alchemist and a blood hunter. I have no idea if they're doing what their classes usually do but they kick ass so I assume they're doing it right.
This reminds me of a running gag my friends and i have when we play a game with healers/medics but they're bad at it. (Medic goes down) "Medic!" "That _was_ the medic!"

I choose to live in a world where they healed him, but the axe melded to his head and became a permanent part of him. It would give him a wonderful talking point, and would make him someone Grog could engage with on an intellectual level. Axe-head is a pirate you would show respect.
Your animation would be perfect for an animated series try doing more of this and release the later with color, and send them to Marisha or Sam offering them up to do shorts for the critical role RUclips, you might get an opportunity and be paid for doing something you like

I'm just imagining her sitting there keeping him hovering on the brink of death but never letting him actually cross over until help arrives. 😂 He's lying there in the long tunnel, looking at the angel standing in the light the other end, who's just staring back at him helplessly as he keeps getting dragged back to the start of the tunnel by his ankles and can never reach them. 🤣
One of the prime examples of the party not knowing, or at least Matt never telling them that melee weapon attacks dont have to kill someone. Like the Mighty Nein have killed so many people they didnt have to that had information because of either not knowing or just not caring

As the guy who has been relegated to healer, which by the by I hate doing, yeah this is about right. Most people playin Clerics aren't playing them to be the party healer, we playing them for one of various other reasons, if we ain't Life domain, don't expect the heals all that often, and if we are grave domain, we ain't gonna heal ya till your down. And if we are Tempest, never expect the heals to go to any but ourselves.
I don't usually play a healer, but I have found a way to make it fun for me. I frontline a cleric with spare the dying, cure wounds, and prayer o' healing as my only health spells. But always have a catch when we have to heal, I do not recommend taking gold for your services, I stick along the lines of giving the characters a lot of crap on how they could have avoided getting hurt, acting big saying they would be helpless without me. I enjoy the prideful bit, but angsty/emo clerics and druids is also a fun role, especially when you go on druggy rants about the natural way of things. I can find fun in most characters, but I like to start out by playing the polar opposite of the stereotype, Matthew Mercer has yet to throw pool noodles at me. Edit: But in almost all cases, healing comes first.
