Love your videos. I recently inherited an LK100 and have been trying to follow your LK150 videos as it seems the most similar. I've had some success. Your tips are always helpful even if I can't exactly recreate the patterning.
You are amazing! I recently inherited some vintage knitting machines that punch card knit, which blows my mind, but to see you doing the same thing by manipulating the needles as you go is unreal! Your projects are SO COOL and you make it look easy! Inspiring!
If you are able to find one for sale - a Brother KX-395 carriage works on the KX-350 bed too and gives you automatic intarsia, plating and multi colour slip stitch options.
Double e wrap always works best for me. I think I do the single e wrap to tight. Love your videos! I thought that I was already subscribed turns out not... Don't know how that happened.
Great pattern and very easy to follow! If I want to adjust this for different yarn or machine, do I just have to keep the stitch count divisible by 4? I have some worsted weight yarn that I would like ot try. Thanks again :)
It needs to be divisible by 8 with two extra stitches. Also make sure that the needles for the rib are in the correct place so that the ribbing lines up with the pattern.
I have a mitten video: ruclips.net/video/jwPJJno0jbs/видео.html I suggest doing a practice mitten first using some expendable yarn to get the technique down. I am going to make one using this bubble stitch used in the bubble beanie to see how that goes.
Thanks for the great videos. I tried this pattern on my Singer Memomatic 327, I did 170 needles (based on gauge swatch) but didn't upsize the pattern (still used every 2/4 needles held). I used 4/6 for the tension (3/5 was too tight). I used Katya superwash merino. I am finding that it knit VERY densely and doesn't have any stretch (although it fits very well). Would that be tension issues or related to not using acrylic yarn? Thanks!
I like to watch your videos you do very well you explain very well I've already made one of your hats but I was wondering can you make what they call a bun hat is where there's a hole with a top for your hair to come through
@@AnnaHaferman I use a hair tie or a good strong rubber band I'm making from my granddaughter because she likes to ever air out and I usually use it on the round Loom That takes me forever But I guess if you could figure out how to leave it open enough to play your hair can go through I guess would be great I don't not push her I'm sorry for getting back to you so late
That'd be another good video for you to do cause I have the same machine that you were using but I'm not that good at it I just watched people on RUclips use it and I like yours the best
Anna when you feed your yarn into carriage there's a little click sound, not on my lk150, yarn sometimes gets caught, I removed the brushes and took yarn that was caught in it, also going from left to right, second yarn won't connect, I hope you can help me pleas, thank you
I'm not sure why it doesn't click. There are two feeders; make sure you're using the front one. The back one is for a second yarn when you're doing plating. Practice on a test swatch with some old yarn and keep trying!
Anna after my e cast, one stitch at a time when I start to knit garment, what way should leavers be, thanks for your help, if it wasn't for you I still would be unable to Cast on , my machine is JK150
Hi there. I want to buy a professional knitting machine. It would be really appreciated if you and other freinds in this page advise me what is the best option🌹🤗☘️
Thank you for your video. I have the same machine and need to knit some hats for a children's charity, do you happen to have a size chart for this pattern? Thanks again!
I haven’t worked out children’s sizes but if you do experiment, remember the needle setup needs to be an odd multiple of four plus two stitches in order to get the ribbing to line up nicely for the bubbles. So maybe casting on L51 to R51 would work and one or two less repeats of the pattern.
Im using a LK 150. I get it going and get to the 3rd row and it gets loose and doesn't finish all stitches and had to start over 3 times. What could i be doing wrong. I even bought some 3 medium yarn. HELP please.
Double check everything. Make sure your yarn is threaded correctly and running smoothly from a cake or cone. Use the right type of yarn- nothing too thick. Use weights. Go slow on the first couple of rows.
@AnnaHaferman I went to the local yarn and knitting machine store and he showed me how to push the needles forward for a few more rows like you did in the snow ball hat video when starting out. He also showed me how to knit a swatch for measuring and also the manual stuff about stitch size with yarn size working out together. Thank you for helping me out. I really appreciate it. ❤️ 💙 🤍
My carriage keeps getting stuck after just a couple rows.. I’ve tried adjusting the tension but it didn’t seem to help. Has anyone else run into this issue? I’m super new to using it!
I have four cats and one dog! The black and white cat is named Gomez. The one who shows up repeatedly in the Superba video (white with stripes) is named Roxy.
I'm sorry. Are you on Facebook? There is a beginning machine knitting group on Facebook where everyone is very helpful and maybe some of us there could help you figure out what is wrong. facebook.com/groups/148091455684118
Anna iv been machine knitting for years, I had a brother and I knit for my 5 kids & nieces & nephews also I had a machine for knitting bullying yarn, I loved it, I noticed on your carriage on your LK carriage it has a little white plastic , mine doesn't I have 2 carriages so two are the same lk machine, im going to try again dont like giving up, thanks Anna
I made this in about an hour and I learned so many things about held stitches! Thank you so very much!
That’s great! Thanks for watching!
Well- I finally was able to sit and make this hat. It was fun and a joy to make. Thank you for all of your time and effort!
That’s great! Which yarn did you use and did you use a pompom?
Just got an lk150 so watching and learning...thx for the tutorials.
Me too, so happy!

Thanks! They are kind of hard to find where I live, but recently got a KH 400 which has the same carriage.
Thank you Anna, what another fabulous idea with the washable markers. Your videos are extremely helpful. I learned so many things from you.
this video has been very nicely explained. thank you for that. I have the same machine and really appreciate it.
Thanks! Enjoy it!
Wonderful explanation of the sewing part. I'm always confused at the point where the tucks are. Thanks!!! Big help to me.
Yes, the sewing up is the hardest part of this hat!
I love this pattern, and you did a great job with the video. I wish you could make a video of a pair of gloves to match. ❤️🤍💙
Here's a mitten video using almost the same stitch pattern. Just use one color instead of two.
i don't speak english, but your videos are TOP. Thank you
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
merci beaucoup Anna !!!
De rien!
Love your hat and instruction. Very well done!

What weight is the yarn? You need a fine yarn for the 327 which is a standard gauge machine.
It was striped sock yarn (15% polyamide)
Thank you.
You're welcome!
A lady gave me a zippy 90 machine its brilliant 👏 🎉
Thanks for sharing. Where do you find the pattern? I would like to find written explanations for knitted projects on Superba knitting machine
I wrote the pattern.
For Superba, look on mkmanuals dot com and search for Superba. Here's an example: mkmanuals.com/superba-digiform-patterns.html

Anna the lady I bought the machine off said it was lk150, but its lk140, its older but is it as good thanks Anna 🌺
Yes, it’s the same thing but with t n less needles.
Thank you 😊
Anna, can chunky wool be used on the jk140 machine, thank you
Where did you purchase the large cast on comb/claw weight? Love it! Thanks
Hi, the ones I have came with some used machines. I thought they were still available new but I can't find them anywhere.
Anna do you need to get * collers* for inside the roller, please let me know ASAP 🙏🏻
I'm not sure what you mean Ann. Are you talking about the needles on the LK 150?
Yes Anna, a girl in the UK gets them, she showed me the black roller wheel like you have
To replace the brushes like you did
They should come with them.
Thanks Anna I didn't know that

I am learning how to use my lk150. What is your tension on the rod at?
Hi, I can't remember what it was, but try 5 to start and see if that works and then go from there.

Oh I'm sorry your right, its LK150, my only excuse is, im old, thanks 😊
@@annthompson3246 No problem; just put the levers back to the triangle and II. So the back levers go back and the front levers go forward.

My suggestion is to join some of the machine knitting Facebook groups and ask there. You will get a lot of information from a lot of different people.

This hat is so cute! How much yarn was left over?
The hat weighs 2 ounces and the yarn cake is 8.8 ounces, so somewhere around 6.8 ounces.
Anna i tried to get the rollers for my machine, person in store never heard of rollers
I dont know where to get them, can you help please x
Do you mean rubber wheels? You would have to order them online.
thanks verymuch, is there a link for the wheels and the name of my machine I'll give
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YDDXRTW
do I just give name of machine when I order rubber wheels Anna thanks 😊
Anna I found a shop over here that sells the rubber wheels, do I just need name of carriage etc
Just curious, why do you keep looking at your watch?
The watch has an app that’s connected to the camera so I can see what’s in the shot.
I wondered the same thing!
I was thinking do we need to connect something to a smartwatch??
