Vincent,As my finances allow , I am going to make small but humble sincere donations to your website. As a student of the French language, my wife and I plan to visit your country for a month a least one time, during our retirement years. I am a musician who for a long time was rebellious to the edict from my teacher(s) to just get a handle on the basics, the rest will follow. Well, I am now appreciating that same supposition in learning Francais.
Very subtle nuances in phonetically similar vowels, like English. Obviously their origins are intertwined, but I feel that French has a much smoother cadence. Nice lesson!!!
Actually going over this with all the consonants is good. A few times and you really start getting it into your head. Better than just saying each vowel sound a couple times by themselves. You can hear them along with all the different possible combinations. Now we just need it done like this with the ai, ei, oi, etc. Of these it would be great to do the ones that sound the same done together some how on the graph. Like ai and ei. Maybe like "bai bei" or however. Just so you can connect those 2 together in your mind as the same.
Hello i a very confuse with the letter (e) when can i pronounce it as e sounded egg?and e sounded like 'o' as in le??please im begging, everytime i see letter e made me confuse wat will be the sound of it🤦♀️,i can read it if thers accent on it,but without accent i cant🤦♀️,thank you very very much,
Sabel Lakina It pronounces differently because of rules: if a word consists of two letters & last letter is “e” then it should be pronounced “O” instead of “e”. Like De (Do), Le (Lo), Je (Jo)...
