Thanks for your comments unfortunately I don't have any knowledge concerning the ES model (I've always preferred to be in more control of the performance rather than having it done for me.) That's not to say they are not worthy! Hey...it's a Honda! I have not looked at the tranny of those models up close but I'm assuming if he put a suicide on it then possibly it could have the foot switch. ???
If ya like gains from just a slipon you are gonna love it rejetted and air filter. honestly just a pipe on mine just made it louder no gain at all and on my 2018 500 it lost a lot until I retuned.
@raiders115 Thank you! I've had it up to 45 mph. The thing is pretty heavy so that has some affect on the top speed. I recently put in a different jet, K&N air filter plus outerwear and a HMF exhaust. These add-ons made a HUGE improvement in launching this sucker!! I do have a gear reduction that I would like to install which would help pull those monster tires! I'll get around to it soon, I hope!
@the86125 I doubt that it is, I've never worried about that! I don't have a clutch delay kit installed and have never thought about that either. I do have an unlocker on it and usually keep it in 2 wheel unless I am muddin', It accelerates and handles 10 x better when unlocked during normal driving. I do have a brand new gear reduction I can install on it, I understand that helps tremendously! I just haven't gotten around to having it installed.
@destroyer550 exhaust, re-jet, K&N air filter with outerwear. Those are some quick ways to boost power and it's fairly cheap (depending on the exhaust you go with).
I believe I bought most of my parts from HighLifter. I haven't bought parts for it in a long time but usually off the internet. The 424 is not only a switch but a front drive line, you have to completely switch out the factory one for the unlocker. I did mine all by myself, it really wasn't too hard! I love it tho!!! especially with the wheels I have on it, I leave it on 2 wheel all the time unless I'm 4n. I wouldn't want to not have it!
@slimjimclark I love it! Especially with the big tires I have on it it handles a lot better plus it has added more speed to the quad "in two wheel drive that is." I always drive it in 2 wheel until I need the 4 wheel traction. I highly recommend it for all quad owners who have the full time 4 wheel drive. It adds a huge difference, definitely worth the cash!! IMHO

yea, i got vids of our four wheelers a polaris scrambler 4 stroke 500 H.O. 4x4, and it has vampires on it, and my kawasaki bayou 300 4x4, its being fixed right now, u should check out the vids if u can

@bowtechboy23 No, I have had water over the motor to half the gas tank and just idling there for a while waiting for my cousin to climb the muddy embankment. I have had water over the motor quite a bit and never had any problems. Is your lid to the sump (air filter) on?

Thanks, idk, that's what I wanted at the time. They are awesome tires! I don't regret buying them but now I think I would like to have 29.5 Laws!
@deerman99 a 450s means 450 shift. Those are the exact same thing as a 450 5 speed. You can shift it 5 times in your case.

How did you attach those steps to the frame?
They mount over the foot pegs and attach to the frame I believe. I had sold that quad a couple of years ago.
