Really enjoying your updates on the Murray in flood. I've only ever seen it in flood from the ground years ago where you only get too see your immediate area. My parents had a shack down river from Blanchetown (over the otherside from the town, after turning right onto the top road) that got flooded in the 70s after which he dismantled it an put it up on higher ground. It was on land rented from a land owner. We spent a lot of time at Walker's Flat when my father would relieve the ferry operator during my dad's holidays from his permanent job in the 50s (yep just another old codger). It was great as we had the operators house to stay in. Lots of catching yabbies, fishing, sometimes of the punt during the week when it was quiet, (my first ever fish I caught was a good size catfish) and learnt to swim in the good old Murray also. We had a lot of great times on the river. Thanks from Townsville.
Thanks for the detailed comment. My next video I’m editing now will like have your old shack in it at Blanchetown. The river may be the life blood of the area but also the source of many stories and memories.
Thanks again for your effort in putting this together. I grew up in Loxton, Waikerie and Murray Bridge in the 50s and 60s, but have never had the opportunity to see the river like this.
Thanks, I only talk about what I know or say I think or maybe …… if I don’t know. Best to just be honest, main stream media for be better to watch if they were honest and factual rather than drama.
I’ve done it in my A* but the view isn’t quite as good and the scenery passes by a bit quicker. I’d love to see your young fella handle the controls sometime.)
Great videos, Thanks for the time and effect you put into these videos. I have watched these videos on one screen and viewed the same area in google maps satellite view on a second screen and you can really see the extent of the flooding
Great idea. I was going to include screen shots from Google Earth satellite view but wasn’t sure how I would go with copyright etc which could affect my account getting monetised, so I can male a few $’s to run the plane and camera gear etc
Reasonably good vision. Can't comment on the music levels since any video that adds muzak to the post automatically gets the mute button this end. Something you might work on though are your speech therapy and diction classes. That will help the auto-generated captions. 😜😁
Thanks for commenting to help guide me in improving. There’s a few spots where I should of clipped and lowered the music track volume. Next video I’ll pay more attention to the audio mix. I’ve been trying to edit and upload these videos as quick as possible so they are relevant so people can see what’s happening “this week”. Each video is taking 20 to 30hrs of work and it’s still a rush.
Either way really appreciate your time and effort. Really puts a different perspective on the levels, really like the name labels on towns etc. Great job & thanks once again.
no problems with the background music for me. Videos that are primarily scenery need some sort of background accompaniment . Good job, thanks for putting it up
No one see national tragedy and needs to build dams, big artificial lakes, pumo systems, deepen rivers, criminal negligence. And next is devastating drought. Water is so important, no life without..or greeni policy to proof climate catastrophe...

Thanks for the appreciation. Yeah it’s definitely an awesome way to view the River, even when it’s not flooding.
Thanks for this awesome and confronting ideo
Thanks for the appreciation. Definitely fuels me to do more and improve
Thanks for taking these video, so impressive. Great to compare with your other videos!
No worries thanks for the appreciation, I’m currently editing Waikerie to Wongulla.
Most interesting, correct information, great work Mike n crew glad I found your UTube videos!! most I have seen have no idea

Another great vid guys, well done. The flooding is Amazing from the air 👍
Thanks, it certainly is, good to see from the ground but from the air is great to see the scale of it.
Terrific view. Wow, the floods are even more widespread than I could have imagined. Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Flying over the floods really is the best way to take it all in and see the scale of it
I’ve done it in my A* but the view isn’t quite as good and the scenery passes by a bit quicker. I’d love to see your young fella handle the controls sometime.)
Fantastic video! Very interesting.A real eye opener.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Really does put the floods into perspective. Hard to see from the ground.

Once again another great videos . Just amazed how polite the aviator chatter is compared to Ch40 on the highway.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 maybe it’s because so many more people can hear you from up there.
@@SKYHILLMIKE I suppose sky rage is harder to implement than road rage.
Bloody Great!
Thanks mate
Don't mind the music because it's muted when you speak. Great still shots too. Well done to your son👍👍
Thanks, glad you liked it. I must admit I could have done better with music levels in hindsight, it’s hard tho with the music volume changing.

I might have to watch using subtitles for a laugh.
@@SKYHILLMIKE Toss in a Hoges or Gulpilil accent accent occasionally to see what the Yankee AI makes of it! 😱😉
Nice vid Mike 👍
Thanks
Your video is good but would be much better with out the music. I would rather hear your comments.
