Us too. They want us to just keep going on our graduate thesis paper but it's literally impossible. Not all of us have the same kind of chosen subject research hence the requirements and activities around them might be harder to accomplished during quarantine to some of us. And most of us feel not really okay mentally while we are in this pandemic. Our country's not performing well with handling it so we're scared.

Definitely! In fact I usually avoid fanarts for half of the book because I want to picture the characters by myself. Then I search for fanarts in the second half of the book and compare them with how I envisioned them in the beginning
Hello Jesse. At the beginning of the year 2020 I found your channel. I never was a reader and didn't even read HARRY POTTER. When I started to watch bookish content I figured I was SERIOUSLY missing out. I ordered all the harry potter books and devoured them so quickly. It was actually insane. I read the order of the phoenix in a week which is incredible for me. I am now obsessed. I finished the harry potter books and moved on to both the fantastic beasts books. I read Fangirl in 3 days and then Anna and the french kiss in two days. I am very happy now. Quarantine sucks but reading helps me get lost in another person's story. I feel everything the character is feeling. It's like you transform into them and are reading your diary and feel the rage and the happiness and I cry and breathe heavily. It's amazing! My only issue now is that I'm zooming through the books and don't have to wait for the books to arrive😅. I'm glad I found this passion of mine and can't wait to read all the new books I ordered.
Can confirm cataloguing books is VERY therapeutic (or was for me at least). Spent the day putting them in a spreadsheet and now I just scroll through it lovingly.

I don't mind seeing drawings of how characters look before reading the book (as long as there are no spoilers), but I really dislike seeing a film adaptation before reading the book. I feel it kills the reading experience because I'm comparing it to the movie, which has always altered the text and taken out a lot of details. I knew a guy in high school who would watch the movie first because he didn't want the book to ruin the movie and I still have him labeled in my brain as a monster.
