I don't get why people are hating on six of crows though, like I haven't heard of anyone hating on it (although I definitely live under a rock)
Siri M the only booktuber Ik that had a negative review of six of crows was Daniel greene. Love that guy to death and respect his opinions but that doesn’t mean our opinions are always aligned. But he is a well known and respected adult fantasy reader and almost exclusively reads adult fantasy and he makes that really clear when reviewing six of crows. I think cause it's just an American classic? I don't know many Europeans (I'm from Europe) who actually did read the Percy Jackson's series. Or maybe that's just my own country lol

I sorta am on point with him tbh. I've never read it and I've never had an opportunity to read it. But I'm curious about it so at some point in life I may give it a go but I don't think I'll like it tbh. Sorta like the cruel prince. I didn't finish cause it was just too boring for me. I may go back to finish it since I read half of it, just to see if I can get to the sequels cause I really wanna know what makes them so likable, but I really doubt it
@@sin3358 Girl you can't compare LOTR to The Cruel prince lmao cruel prince sucked while lotr is a masterpiece. If you have no interest in reading them than you can check out the movies instead! I think the movies are even better 😊

The Maze Runner series - I couldn't get through the third book, but the third movie ended up being my favourite..
I don't know how popular this opinion is, but I'd say the movies are definitely better than the books on this occasion (for me personally!) 😅

Because I never managed to finish the book, I can't say whether the movie stayed true to the story or anything, but I did really enjoy it! Also may depend on if you enjoyed the other two Maze Runner movies 😅

For most of the books I was like “well I’ve read this, but I don’t own it” aka the life of a poor student that borrows books from the library. I counted each of those for half a point, but I do own several of them as well. I got to 8 out of idk how many you said in the video, not that bad I’d say

I've read The Selection, all four Twilights, Six of Crows trilogy, The Cruel Prince, Throne of Glass, and the Hunger Games. I'm basic and trash for Fae fiction, and The Darkest Part of the Forest is really underrated if you like those you have to go read it.
I recommend watching the 1997 (or so) version of Little Women before you watch the new one seeing as the new one may get confusing with the order that the plot is in :D

I read Matched it is the first book in the 3 part series, and I can tell you that all 3 books are about a love triangle.

It was a tiring read for me. The poetry is kinda fun and interesting but from what I remember, I personally found the characters annoying for not making up their minds... always in doubt... Denying feelings... Just in a loop often... Anyway, I put down book 2 so long ago already. Could be interesting if you're into dystopian tho. The world they're in gets every person 'matched' to someone supposedly 'perfect' for them but then I think it appears that the main character seems to have more than one 'perfect' match... so it's like omg what dis
@@zellesev1240 I stopped reading the series after getting through like 1/4 of the first book b/c curiosity got the best of me and I googled who was going to end up with the main character. Turns out my ship was not going to sail so I stopped reading it. 😅🤣
Literally me thinking the selection series was just a book version of the bachelor is why I didn’t read it for years. But now looking back I feel so dumb about it because literally, yes a prince is choosing between girls but it’s so different because the main girl doesn’t even want to be chosen at all. Plus there’s a whole underlining Revolution going on that makes the series ten times better

I have read most of these books (from the library) but the ones I own are: City of Bones; Matched; TFIOS, Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska, Will Grayson Will Grayson; Harry Potter, Fangirl; 3+ Roald Dahl books; To Kill a Mockingbird; Little Women. Also: I have a book recommendation, it’s Redwood and Ponytail by K A Holt. It’s told in two different perspectives, and it’s a novel in verse. The formatting on the page is a little weird, but the story is really good and I definitely recommend it.

YOU HAVENT READ THE SELECTION??? It’s amazing. Yeah there is a lot of romance but a lot of it is like friendship stuff and rebellion.
Just gotta warn ya, Jesse, the new Little Women movie might not make much sense unless you at least watch the 1994 movie before diving into the new one. The older one follows the book pretty well, and so it should make it a bit easier to follow the new movie’s timeline. The new version has a bunch of time jumping that might make it tricky to know what’s going on unless you know how the plot goes. Enjoy the movie!!!
