I was born in 1965. The floral book looks like my mother’s books from the 1970s. Your copy was likely printed in 1976, but the text may have been written in 1908. Usually books of that era would include illustrations. It would be interesting to see what the 1908 copy looked like! 🌷 I love your little library 📚 I’m a butterfly girl too🦋

I think the wild flowers book was first published in 1908 and then the version you have is from the 70s with color pictures added :)

Hello Allison! I love the glass watering globes! I am so bad at over watering my plants and ever since I have been using these my plants are doing amazing and have grown so much without any issues. They are also great if you are traveling you just fill them and you dont have to worry about dead or wilted plants when you return home. I Love watching your videos always learning something new from watching them.
Dollar Tree has plastic watering orbs just like ones Allison has but plastic and I bought a bunch for my plants..

Everything is lovely. One of the things to remember is to end your sentences with periods. When you are speaking give your sentences resolution at the end of each phrase. That means taking a breath ending the sentence before you start another sentence. I've really noticed with You tube presenters of a certain generation...usually under the age of 35 when speaking end their sentences with upspeak.Upspeak, also known as uptalk or high rising terminal (HRT), is a linguistic occurrence in which a speaker uses a rising inflection at the end of a declarative sentence. This rising intonation at the end of the sentence makes a statement sound like a question.

Hydrangeas need half sun (morning sun preferably) and afternoon shade!!!!!! I struggled with hydrangeas for years! Until I moved mine. The tags normally say full sun and that is not true for SC. They definitely need afternoon shade! Also fertilize them with flower bone meal!!!

Hi Allison! You might want to be careful with drying the flowers because if the berries fall to the floor Palmer might eat them & they could be toxic for him.

Those glass orbs work really well but please be careful and make sure they are always filled with water as my husband has been to a number of house fires where they have been the cause. I've found some lovely plastic ones from Amazon that work just as well and no fire worries! Xx

Thanks for posting another delightful video! About allergies, when I was in my early 30’s I saw an allergist and had allergy testing. The results showed environmental/animal allergies and I was given maintenance routine to follow and started allergy shots. It was transformative; something to think about.

I would like to recommend quercetin and bromelain for your allergies. My husband Sean used to have horrendous allergies and he took quercetin and bromelain and he’s been allergy free ever since (16 years ago). 😊 You should be able to find them at your local health food store or Whole Foods Market. Sigh, you're making me wish I lived somewhere warmer where spring comes so soon! I live in Vermont and the earth is still blanketed in snow. Nature really won't reawaken and start blooming until mid-April.

Oh and if you can't eat garlic by itself try taking it with natural raw honey by you. My mom does that and it helps some. I usually just take it eat it real quick and then rinse it down with water.
Your book was originally published back in 1800, but reprinted in 1970 whatever the dates you said! And they colorized the what would of been black and white prints.👍🏻 As far as I know that grey moss is dead, unless when watered it turns green if alive. The hydrangeas are forced for selling in spring. Even if you cut the flowers off and plant the plant in part sunshine they most likely won’t regrow. Especially without a winter season! ☹️ Your wreath is beautiful! ❤️

Hydrangeas are really easy to propagate. Maybe you should propagate a few in case those ones die. Also, just an FYI, I heard that you can get a staph infection if you don't garden with gloves. I do it all the time and really need to get some gloves.

NO... that Wild Flowers book was from the 1970s... which is when things started to have more coloured pictures. Maybe it was the printer company that has been around sincec 1908.. or there may have been a black and white earlier version of the book... but normally it says eg 1st edition etc

The secret to hydrangeas is water. They need tons and tons of water. It’s not just the sunlight doing yours in, it’s the heat.
I would plant them, but if not, give them a bigger pot and some irrigation.

You can use the copy of the print that you don’t plan to frame in your scrapbook.
If you want Blue hydrangeas you need stick a nail in the vases or an iron supplement. Iron makes them Blue or purple sometimes🤣, its beautifull
If you eat a glove of garlic everyday it'll really help with your allergies. I live in Ohio and our temperatures change all the time no matter the season. I need to get back to eating it. I do take it in a vitamin form. But taking a organic glove of garlic everyday will really help tremendously. Give it a shot!
