BBC Drama is the best. Have been listen since I was a boy.
Mr Stanton…Can you please find us some more like this…….I never missed these plays when I was younger .( Saturday night theatre and Alister Cooks letter from America every Sunday morning ) Thank you so much.
Very, very good, drama when drama was meant to be drama, really great story & marvellous actors
Drama is.... Always drama
🇮🇪☘️🎉🎊
Outstanding drama thank you for finding this for us. Back to a time when the BBC was about entertainment rather than re-education.
Roy, why do You make such comment
BBC is not there to stand in time!
It's duty is always, to expend and show the present.
If BBC were to adhere to Your idea....
We would never have reached past ancient times!!
Please allow, People were saying same as You, when You were Young!!

A gripping production - unusual subject matter.
incredible radio play - acting, directing, and writing are just amazing!! i was holding.my breath. you really have a great sense for the dramatic and for excellent theatre 🎭
Superb
Excellent drama
Thank You!!! Well Done !!! Bravo!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸
Good story
Lovely to come across you again. Thank you for sharing your hard work.
Great play Sir Arch 🙋 Thank you sir !
Excellent play. Historically interesting, full of what seems to be authentic detail.
..here to say that , in addition to being a gripping drama, the radio communications and related technical information was pretty dead on accurate -- especially relating to CW (Morse code). Someone was damn clear on zero-beating a CW signal and the Morse message, while not plain English was good. (The message fragment sent read "A C R S J M N O R P H A H M H A..".)
Very enjoyable when the writers and actors get things correct!
I'm lost with the message and what does CW stand for? The Morse Code message u wrote what does it say but when I listen to the play maybe it'll make sense?
@@simonmcgrath4112 CW is "continuous wave" or Morse code. The message does not make sense, per se. However, it may be some military abbreviations or acronyms. CW is often fraught with them to conveniently convey meaning.
thanks for pointing this out. it certainly sounded technically authentic to me, even though i hardly know anything about this stuff. and it’s very important to the play. this play also gave me more understanding of the strategy and behavior of the military. stay safe 🌷

The Appointed Hour . Sounds ominous ? Like my annual visit to
the dentist . Not as scary though.
They also spy except into your mouth!!!
A wartime army spy thriller with an unexpected twist at the end. See if you can spot the traitor. To my ears, one of the main characters sounds a bit too much like Tony Hancock, which is a distraction that needn't bother anyone else! A gripping listen as the tension mounts! Many thanks for uploading.
Just started listening and thought I'd check the comments....
Dunno about spotting the traitor but maybe it's the guy that opens his comment with a bunch of spoilers! (that's you btw) I'll have to find something else to listen to now.
@@Pete9Tails shitposter.

cor blimey---it's a wonder we won the war.
