Been with Dollar Shave Club for 10 years! They switched to the new blades and never sent me a new handle - told me I needed to buy one! Canceled my membership. Probably switching to Jeremy’s. I emailed them and while they were apologetic, offered no real solution. Their brand has been in slow decay for years. The rebranding they did a few years back was terrible.
They didn’t change for the customers benefit - they changed to reduce costs at the customer’s expense. Likely have a new CFO driving down costs but are likely going to be spending more on marketing to retain current customer base. When will they learn?
Agree with the comments. HATE the new blades. Tried to go back to the old and they’re discontinued. I canceled tonight after being with them over ten years! Watched this hoping for a rave review of new blades. Sigh.
This doesn’t make me hopeful for the new blades. I still have some boxes of the old but the supply is getting low. Once I try the new blades I may have to do a follow up video.

New blades are awful. Every single time I shave, they catch my beard hair. That never happened with previous DSC razors. I also feel like it's just a worse shave. A day later I feel like I need to shave again compared to before (as recently as two months ago) I could go 2-3 days before feeling crusty.

Supposedly the DSC uses Dorco Blades and the Pace 6 is supposed to be the equal of the heritage which is the original blade. Reviews for blades should include evaluating how they do when you save with them.
I did a separate video comparing the new DSC razor to Jeremy’s razor and discussed how it shaved. I hadn’t opened any of the new blades when I did this video.
The four blade ones are better than the 6 blade. 6 blade causes too much irritation. I do not like the shave butter. Gonna try the shave cream instead.
Use Badger Shave Soap when shaving! It’ll give you a closer shave! I quit dollar shave club because it was getting too expensive and found Dorco blades and handles on Amazon which are better than dollar shave club and are actually the older dollar shave club cartridges. I hope this 😂will help.
Shave Soap is less messy, more practical, and gives you a closer shave then shave cream or gels! I like Badger Shave Cream! All natural ingredients and it lathers up well! The Dorco Blades on Amazon are better and less expensive than Dollar Shave Club! I have the old DSC Handle and the Dorco blades work well! They make several different handles! I hope this helps!
I was with DSC more than 10 years. We Don't like the new cheaper dollar shave club razors. they don't last. Their overall razor quality was so much better than before. Harry's quality is much better, and you can get multiple use out of ever one. DSC razor you don't want to use them more than one time. DSC's new razors will take more of your time to shave. I used to them everyone about DSC, but not anymore. If it ain't broke don't fix it unless you're going to make it better.
ok so i’ve done some research barasol literally has the same razor but with their logo on it, unfortunately it is a bit expensive but i was paying the same amount anyways for 2 razor sets for each month
i joined in 2015 and quit since they started shipping fee. Originally it was free. Then they started a $2 shipping fee and evidently now it is $4. My last razor handle also wouldn't hold the blades on, blade kept popping off in shower. ... I just found BIC disposable twin blades on amazon for 50 cents each.

I don't care, new blade v old blade, new handle v old handle. I was just super confused because they didn't send me a new handle and the new blades didn't work in my old handle. No biggie, but I had to get a new handle on my own. I work in marketing and advertising and they definitely failed in communicating that a new/different handle and blade system was rolling out to me.
