  • This is the third part of our Northern BC Road trip. Today we leave Cedar Point Campground in Likely BC and head for the ghost town of Quesnelle Forks! Between 1860 and 1862 it catered to 2,000 or more transient miners annually and a resident population of approximately 100.
Look for us next time as we head to the quaint little town of Stewart BC.

Hi Dan & Carmen. Thanks for capturing this amazing place! Back in the mid 70's our high school outdoors club camped out at Quesnel Forks. We made 3 separate camping trips here and also explored the area like the Bullion Pit and the abandon town site, still full of cabins and relicts. Back then Quesnel Forks was an abandoned place with no parking area, signage or information. The cemetery was in disrepair and many buildings neglected. Your video brought back so many great memories and its awesome to see that this historic site has been cared for. A must see for any adventure seeker. Also, there was a two seater cable car crossing over the Caribou River to the north of the town site. Us curious teens managed a few daring trips high above the river for fun. Let us know if you two may have seen the cable car this during your visit? Great video and thanks for bring back the memories of QF to us! Subbed back to your channel, cheers T&S

@@HappyTrailsAdventures Thank you for watching! I would have loved to see it back then. We did not see the cable car but when I go back that way I am going to see if I can find it. It really is an amazing place to see.
