Thank you so much for this video, I’m making my first regalia set for my daughter and I’m so thankful for creators like you because I don’t have any close family to teach me
I like those fingernail posts! Haven’t used them much, but I may ought to now! Alternatively, I glue the backing material before attachments as it is less slit cutting and sewing. Since I typically put a thin layer of that tacky glue between all three layers and also edge bead the sandwich together the extra sewing of attachments felt like overkill to me. Really good looking work!
I ❤ your design! Very nice work. One question, do you trim your cardboard 1/4" back? I usually do because it's hard on my hands & thumb to push needle through all the layers of leather, cardboard, glue...i used to end up with a hole in my thumb 😬
I have full tutorials posted on my instagram page @two_wolf_teresa I didnt save the videos before I decided to make a youtube channel darn it! I plan to make more tutorials if youre not on instagram
Can you post another video where you are cutting the leather for spiralling the hair tie please? You were off camera with the actual process. Thank you
I don’t know if this would help but you could put a little amount of lipstick on the fingernail post and that way it will mark exactly where cut needs to be on you cardboard ( no one will see it)😊
your beading work is beautiful. When cutting the leather why don't you use the cardboard as a guide to cut the leather slits simultaneously? it will save you so much time... I really love your work.
I love your tutorials! I am telling all I know to watch them. For the headbands and choker do you use no cardboard? Also where do I get the thread conditioner?
Beeswax is pretty easy to come by. Most any other waxy substance will do, though and not everyone even uses it. A stick of chapstick might even work if you just absolutely feel the need. Maybe not the most appealing method, but, for “smaller” thread lengths that don’t need much conditioning I just rub the thread between my lips every now and then (not trying to soak the thread, but just keep it a little lived and untangled).
Your tutorials are the best I've found! My ancestors have all passed before I could gain this knowledge, so thank you for sharing this here.💗
Stumbled across your channel and I just want to say thank you for your videos and sharing how to do your ancestors’ art. This is amazing!
This is so in depth and clear! Thank you so much, I'm making my first regalia and am so excited!!
This is a ***PERFECT*** Real Life; “Do as I say, not as I do” video!! I hope your Saturday turned out lovely in spite of the chaos! 🤪

Well done. Thank you for talking through your process.
You have a really lovely way of teaching. Thank you
Thank you so much for these videos. You are an amazing teacher!❤
After cutting slits in your cardboard, couldn't you use that as a stencil for the holes going into the leather? Love the videos .
Have you ever made a Princesses beaded crown before? If not would love to see a tutorial on how to do it and the materials needed for it.
Ive made one crown before but it was before I was doing tutorials. I think thats a good idea for a video! thank you!
Beautiful beadwork!

Beautiful beadwork
Would it be easier to glue the hide onto the card first ~ let it dry ~ then glue on back of item?
Where do you get that beautiful leather? I've used a Chamois before with good results, but that's kinda expensive..

Here’s a tip for your glue. Open lid & use a chop stick to retrieve glue. Ok. Save your hand from trying to squeeze. Ok
