Meshuggah have the most imposing and monolithic stage presence of any artists alive right now.
And they barely move. Because they don't have to.
monotlithic. yeah, that's the perfect word describing them. it feels like u are a titan, trampling over little puny humans
I genuinely believe Meshuggah get more powerful the longer they exist. Literal Norse gods at this point
Is no one going to talk about 2:16 💀
Untouchable kings
👽
Brácho. Ďakujem za upload. Ja som tam tento rok nemohol byť nanešťastie. Budúci rok to určite víde. Ešte raz ďakujem❤️💯🔥
Som rád, že sa video páči. Dík. 🤘 Meshuggah je top. 🎶
2:15 This was a brave new addition to the track, but I think it works.
It was 👽
Like I tell people they ask me why you love them so much, my answer is they are the best live band to see . I’ve seen them 5 times and never seen a mistake from them or any sound issues or nothing just perfectly execution
They sound so perfect every time. It's possible if you're willing to put in the work, prepare and bring a great crew. Love 'em for doing it right!
Meshuggah might be a new term for perfection in music. 🎶
amen.
@@nekonecnumthe best part that they are not particularly new
i every time forget that they started doing what they do now in fucking 2000's
@@fyuunnaa And they do it brilliantly. I'm very curious to see what the next album will bring. 🎶
By the way, tomorrow I'm seeing them again. 👽
Greatest piece of music ever written
From my point of view, Catch 33 is one of the most interesting albums they ever released. 👽
11:39 Holy fuck. That’s the first time I’ve heard Fred do that. So tasteful!
That's an excellent observation! 🤘
@@nekonecnum Every once in a while, he improvises something in a noticeably different way and it’s super refreshing since they’re such perfectionists and so strict about playing everything exactly as it is on its respective recording.
I urge you to check out his Perpetual Black Second solo in Santiago, Chile as that was one of those “not expecting that” moments.
@@TunnelJumper Thanks for the tip about that solo in Perpetual Black Second played in Santiago, Chile. You're right. 🤘
Anyway, I'm very curious if Fredrik will ever record "Special Defects II". 👽
Best gig for me for this year's BA, I was high on acid and felt every single note to my deep inner self, a lifetime experience :)
👽
I get you bro, same thing! :D
Nice :-) My first (and only) time seeing them was as a 17 year old, tripping on magic mushroom chocolate. Psychedelics aren't usually my thing but it kinda felt appropriate for Meshuggah. The friend that was gonna go with me couldn't make it so not wanting to waste a ticket I invited a girl from work I was friendly with. As in, a normie girl not into metal at all, let alone something as far afield as the forefathers of djent. She had an absolute blast after we shared the chocolate though. Best thing I can remember was the pit for Future Breed Machine.
That was 14 damn years ago so I think I'm long overdue seeing Meshuggah again when they return to the UK. Animals As Leaders coming up in November though!
So...tx to Mesh or Meth?
Listening to Catch 33 is the closest you can get to having a psychedelic experience while perfectly sober
3:11 nothin more beautiful then Meshuggah about to play and a wall of death awaits and a ceremonial dance by witches right before the battle! Can’t get pretty more Swedish then that!
Good observation. 🎶
Honestly, I´m glad that I managed to capture all those moments, and now we can virtually remember that great atmosphere and performance Meshuggah. 👽
I’ve come to love this band over the last 3 years…just amazing metal…
I saw them during their immutable tour back in September of 2022 in Cleveland and they sounded perfect! Some songs like rational gaze and even in death sounded better there than in the studio versions!
As usual, the light operator kicks ass
Thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome! 🤘
Legends
Totally!
AAAHHHH this song just ended my guitar dry spell. I can't help but play along when I hear this goddamn opus
Seeing them on Nov Seattle!
Enjoy! 🤘
Long live Meshuggah
amazing footage! Thank you
Many thanks! 🤘I appreciate your words! 👽
💚👽
👽
4:11 is so fucking clean
👽
gods.
👽
the solo in the beginning of "in death is death" is fucking massive
I saw them for the first time in MD, Sept 2022. I plan to see them again in San Diego in Nov 2023.
That's great. Meshuggah will just kick off the North American Tour 23 in San Diego. 👽
I was going to see them last year when they came to Dallas but I couldn’t make it and I’ve been kicking myself since. If I could, I’d just like to get a pic with Dick Lövgren, if I could bring my bass I’d ask him to sign just so I could have it on there. That’s how much of an impact they’ve had on me.
The greybeards of metal
Pillars of metal 👽
Heaviest band of all time 🔥🔥🔥
👽
So fucking good, love fredriks improvs
Best band in the world 🤘 Awesome video!
My thoughts exactly 👽 Thank you so much! 🤘
They sound great!🤘but whoever filmed this😁awesome footage!
Thanks a bunch! 🤘
@@nekonecnum your welcome😁👍
I was there simple breathtaking
Great show indeed. 👽
so sick. great video thanks!
Thanks a million! 🤘
No b.s. back tracks like most bands who dont even play their leads. I know they do some. But they are pretty damn much genuine badasses since the 80s
They are perfectionists. 👽
🤟🤟🤟
🤘
Gracias por dejar este tesoro grabado en la red . ❤
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching. 🤘
why their live sound so great?! what mixer console they using on FOH?
That´s an insightful query.

@@marcuspersen8209 why did you knew it?
it's all in the hands, man.

Thanks and greetings to Brazil! 🤘
Tamo junto, parceiro! Um salve diretamente de São Paulo - SP
Thanks for the footage @nekonecnum!
@@Gabriel-sx8xi You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching and listening. 🤘
4:39 the tiniest of mistakes lol
I haven't even noticed that until now. 👽
@@nekonecnum took me a couple repeats as well, just randomly focused on a riff for a second and heard it xD
At least we know they're human after all.... I love mistakes it makes the live experience better 💯
@@markcrowe8018 agreed
Meanwhile deftones cant even play in time live lol
Really?
What was happening around the crowd??
They were enjoying the music. 🤘
That crowd looks more like on acid during a rave than at a metal show, but with Meshuggah I don't think there's anything wrong with that lol
@@MirkoFustinoni Who knows? 👽
To think they were ashamed to spawn their own sub genre.. but still nothing beats the one and only... most out there are just shallow stylistic copycats
Leaders. Stop. As leader you Can sometime be lost to find the way ....but You pave for followers...
Petition to stop clapping during the intro
What the fuck is everyone in the crowd looking at??
Oh... LMAO that's a hectic circle pit
