- Senator Chris Murphy, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, will lead a group of Senate Democrats on the U.S. Senate floor to call for passage of the bipartisan border security bill that former President Trump convinced Republicans to kill earlier this year. Murphy reintroduced the bill as a standalone piece of legislation last week, and the U.S. Senate will vote tomorrow.
