Duane, Sometimes using a curved turnout fixes an issue that you described. What is the radius of that curve where you were having that issue? Is it too tight? Maybe it needed an easement to make it easier for trains to run and not derail…..John
@@duanesforkandspoonrr10 what is the curve going into the curved turnout? Remember that the Peco is a 36R/18R so if the entering curve is too tight then it will cause problems. I am just trying to help not criticize you. Also Peco turnouts are notorious for not having the closure rails completely close all of the time so they can pick at the wheels of cars. The curve turnouts i have didn't work...but it runs smoother now....thanks for the comment....

@tanzj no thanks for the info...it helps but I just removed that turnout and put in a curved piece...so far it runs a lot smoother...
