    Correction: Norway is not part of the EU, but they are part of something called EEA. This basically means they have to abide by EU law. Although this doesn't change my view on Norway being the most likely to receive level 5 autonomous vehicles.

      I saw ur video about the boring company bricks. Now I'm wondering if u could make a video about what happened to the Tesla ventilators. I remember them releasing a video about how they were making medical ventilators from car parts when the pandemic started, but never heard another word of them since.

    • @zezizarjaars

      I expect them to do it city by city. Why? Because if I sell my car and want to use Tesla taxi's only, I really have to be sure I can really rely on them at every moment I would normally rely on my car. That means that such a Tesla has to come within 15 minits at most and have to bring me to the place I want in a normal amount of time. If you do worldwide, or even countrywide it will most likely not succeed, especially not if everybody in the whole country got the same idea. Why? Because there simply aren't enough Tesla's, also, if you do it countrywide, and there are not enough Tesla's, the first experience of most people will be really bad and that's exactly the thing you want to prevent. Also, Tesla Taxi's in remote area's will perform really bad, since they usually have much less work compared to the city. So especially in remote area's, the Tesla's will not work as good in the beginning. This is somehow not a big problem, the main places where there are too many cars are city's anyway.

    More like it wouldn't care if its people fear or dislike FSD, it would just tell them to shut up and do as they are told

      I am Canadian, a Democratic country but I do believe that there are certain decisions that should be made by experts using data vs what the public wants (fears) based on lack of knowledge. A majority of the general public know nothing about the safety of autonomous driving capabilities. In time it will be proven just how many lives and injuries will be saved with autonomous driving. But because too many people refuse to educate themselves using data and only have emotional responses, this will slow down the progress. Thus more people will continue to die and get seriously injured in car accidents. Do the research. China and Norway look at the data and make the best decisions for the country, people and the environment. China has made many mistakes in the past but they have seen the errors in their ways and are more more committed than most countries to the future.

    • @lkrnpk
      @lkrnpk 3 года назад +2

      @@saufai74 no certainly there are decisions that should be left to experts, it was more of a general comment on what kind of system China has, on one hand technologically it is very forward looking etc. which many people like, on other hand deep down it is still very oppressive to people who do not follow the party line and I do not think it is getting better, instead it is getting worse. It feels to me China was more ''free'' 10 years ago than now

      @@saufai74 "China has made many mistakes in the past but they have seen the errors in their ways"
      has the ccp ever admited any mistakes??? last time i checked they brushed their failure under the rug and eliminated records of it and silenced discusion. that doesn't seem like a government that is very willing to learn to me. it seems much more like a government that does whatever it wants without concern for anything but themself.

    • @saufai74
      @saufai74 3 года назад

      @@theprettypetard2524 I definitely don’t defend what they have done in the past nor do I think what or how they are doing things now is perfect by any means. But I think you show some naivety if you think that the US government with certain decisions does what is best for the US is the priority. They may have better spin doctors and are better at keeping non-popular decisions behind closed doors, but pointing your finger and criticizing with such broad strokes isn’t helpful to anyone. I was talking specifically and only about electrification, decarbonizing, and most of all FSD.
      If you think there is a country out there that hasn’t made some “unpopular decisions” and then did there best to clean things up...smh.

      @@saufai74 "But I think you show some naivety if you think that the US government with certain decisions does what is best for the US is the priority."
      man you are a sneaky one with that one. you make it look like you are calling me naive when in actuallity you are talking about a group that you have no idea if i belong in. so that mean that you are likely thinking i am a fool and that i would fall for a red herring fallacy like that or perhaps you are simply to ignorant of what you are doing.
      "but pointing your finger and criticizing with such broad strokes isn’t helpful to anyone"
      considering that the ccp just want people to only talk about the positive of china and ignore the negative i find it rather dangerous to not criticize the ccp since it may lead to people having an opinion of china positive enough that they may have an easier time getting away with any bad thing they do becaus people would have heard so much more good than bad of them.
      "I was talking specifically and only about electrification, decarbonizing, and most of all FSD."
      true but any positive comment made about china can be spun easily to be broader than meant if not carefull. there is so many people that have been/ are curently being brainwashed into believing china is the best place ever that you should be carefull not to make it harder for them to open their eyes. the ccp allready sees itself at war and is using a lot of propaganda to win it before the rest of the world realize the severity of the issue.
      "If you think there is a country out there that hasn’t made some “unpopular decisions” and then did there best to clean things up...smh."
      puting words into my mouth eh? i never said anything like that so stop arrogantly assuming stuff and/or using logical fallacy to make you look right.

    You may be over estimating the per mile revenue by projecting the Uber revenue onto the FSD service. Once you remove the driver from the equation there will be an enormous downward price pressure. Pricing will likely end up somewhere in the middle between Uber and public transport.

    Interesting but I would halve the estimate revenue for Tesla because they will charge $10k for FSD software. The other aspect not mentioned is the insurance. Tesla Uber may provide the insurance for the network taking a larger % of the revenue but assuming a larger risk. Hard to say what Tesla Uber will cost . I am hopping a model of $1.00 to get the car reserved and $1 / mile , $0.50 / km as a reasonable price but this may not be what the market will bear. This pricing model will make Tesla Uber very desirable and drive demand having people abandon private car ownership and disrupting city land use regarding vehicle parking and driving space. Put FSD in a mini bus and delivery vehicle / service vehicle and cities can abandon large areas of pavement and reclaim cities for people. Cities get much denser and energy efficient. The purpose of cities is to provide a efficient and low cost way to provide services to people.

Just something you might want to keep in mind when writing your scripts, filming, and (probably most importantly) editing. Best of luck growing your channel!

    nothing it doesn't work in UK and will never be allowed in UK as to allow a driverless vehicle on roads would make driving licences unenforceable invalid.
