So when we first moved here in 88 I got a job at The Regal Inn. Before karaoke was a thing I performed every weekend for a solid year to a recording. In the studio, (A B Audio Visual) I broke down cover songs parts and put my version of them back together. I put the audio mix on a VCR tape and put video to the music. I then played to the recording, shifting from keyboard, to acoustic guitar, to electric guitar, to drums or to bass guitar à la Todd Rundgren. We put up a rack with lights and one TV set on each side, on top of the rack. The videos would correspond and sync to the songs. Linda ran the sound, the lights and switched tapes. We had a blast.
