This line features a new design mechanic, affectionnately known as the "egg". The egg is wonderful for bouquets because you are able to create natural, loose, free form bouquets with less product. It keeps the stems from collapsing and stops the design from becoming a tight round ball. Because of the armature, you can lay the design down as you are working and give your hands a break!
The egg cradle can also be used to tie on heavy items like tillandsia or fruit. The structure adds support to the design.
Made from 100% recyclable and reusable materials, they are available in two sizes on the Australia Market.

The"egg" really helped me make a gorgeous bridal bouquet for my daughter-in-law! I had been out of the floral business for many years and bridal bouquets had changed. Being nervous about making a good hand held spiral bouquet, I came across the ,"egg". It was just the armature I needed to be successful. Anyone can make a beautiful bridal bouquet with the "egg"!

Love the arrangement. What flowers did you use?

Hi Maria, we can see that she's using an assortment of Lisianthus, Ranunculus, Olive foliage, Asparagus fern, seeded gum, Veronica, Canterbury bells, Italian Ruscus, Carnations, Stock, and Roses. We don't stock fresh versions of these flowers on our website, however, you may be able to find artificial alternatives via our artificial flower section: www.koch.com.au/silk-flowers.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
      Kind regards,
      Koch & Co.

So beautiful! Can the egg cage be used for a round bouquet as well?

    • @kochandco

Hi Linda, the egg cage is more for creating elongated, whimsical bouquets while providing a bit more support and structure to the stems as well as creating a guide and shape for your creation. You don't really need a cage to create a round bouquet, depending on size and flowers. However, we have used the pillow guard to create a foliage heavy bouquet before. It does help hold foliage and flowers and give them a little more support than a traditional, hand tied bouquet. We would recommend using the pillow guard over the egg for your round bouquet design. Kind regards, Koch & Co.

Is it egg visible in the final product? Can it be used for classic round Rose bouquets?

Hi Binh, the great thing about the egg is that it is completely invisible once the arrangement is finished! Have a look at the end of the video when the arrangement is finished, we cannot see the egg anymore in Holly's hand, it is all covered by greenery and flowers.
