I've just fallen down the rabbit hole of floral arrangement and finding your instagram and then your youtube channel has just made my day and has been a huge revelation. I've NEVER ever try flower arranging but I want to learn and I'm just obsessed by your videos; I'm gonna nerd out watching all of them and heading to my local flower market tomorrow!!!
I have no idea how I missed this comment but this means so much to me, thank you so much for checking out my work!! I will be offering so much more online education and in person classes so I hope I can be a help! Make sure to sign up on my website for email updates for all the other free resources too, amynicolefloral.com!
I am making a large cascade for a September wedding. Lots of roses and phal orchids. Thinking to use a large paddle shaped bouquet holder. Your thoughts???
So helpful Amy! I have never had the guts to do the full wiring method. The amount of control is awfully enticing but I am always afraid of wilt happening. Do you know how British designers avoid wilting when the stems don't reach a water source? Are they making these bouquets the day of events?
Hi! Do you have a video or tips on how to preserve a cascading wedding bouquet? I am getting married in October and I want to make sure I can save my wedding bouquet! Thank you in advance!
Thanks for the great videos! I like the Oasis bouquet holder because of having a water source (though the hand-tied bouquet I did for an outdoor late May wedding in Las Vegas (HOT) held up surprisingly well with just having had Quick Dip and Crowning Glory.) I had a class specifically for the Oasis bouquet holder. It's definitely not something that would be easy to figure out on your own! There was a base/holder that had to be made from dry foam and secured to the work table so you could have both hands free to work, and the spray glue to super-secure the stems to the bouquet holder was effective but made my fingers stick together ! lol I'll be doing my first official cascade bouquet for my September bride. Your tips here will be so helpful, thanks again! (But please wish me luck anyway! :)
Hi Amy my name is Monica and I am enjoying making my own flower arrangement by myself and I am enjoying doing them

Love this info!! How far ahead of time can you make a bouquet in the foam holder without a fridge? would the night before be too long? Thanks!

Hi there, I do not do videos but I believe there are kits on amazon or Etsy that you can buy!

Good luck! I am amazed how long hand tied bouquets can hold up!
Love that tape and wire method. I suppose it has to be refrigerated!! To keep it fresh.
