Facts. Pearl is a pick me that can't even get picked. Estee just likes to look like Marilyn Monroe and wear dresses and can pull off the look, so figured out she could get TikTok famous by posting herself doing random crap online as long as she looks the way she does. She already got picked, and could get picked again no problem, she probably just likes the online attention and men telling her how hot she is (which has little to do with anything "trad" tbh, being a young pretty blonde with big fake boobs will do that for you).

I completely and utterly agree. She's done everything she can to degrade herself, even give away her right to vote, and it still hasn't worked. She fat shames other women and calls them ugly, but doesn't do much to enhance her own sex appeal or tone her body at all. The traditional misogynistic men that she is trying to appeal to will most likely never find her attractive because she is 6 feet tall and not sexy or feminine at all. I'm confused as to why she doesn't prioritize her own appearance more when she clearly understands that appearance is important to men and openly shames other women for gaining weight. She doesn't practice what she preaches, which is why the misogynistic men she idolizes like Andrew Tate do not want her. The only fans models he surrounds himself with are usually plastered with elaborate makeup, (and half naked) and she can't even be bothered to wear flattering stylish clothes. Or hair extensions or any number of things Christian conservative women use to doll themselves up. She obviously doesn't understand these men as well as she thinks she does or she'd have one, right?

My older female relatives did this easily. This Gen Xer had relatives from the original 1940's and 1950's Tradwives who were still alive in the 1970's when he was a child. They could do all that and had seamstress skills enough to mend damaged clothing, iron the Husband's clothes so they wouldn't be wrinkly, then in down time, some of them could create their own clothes, make a simple summer dress. My mother, born in 1936, could do that, she didn't need to buy clothes at a store necessarily, she could buy cloth and using her mastery with a sewing machine create basic clothing. Pants, shirts, simple dresses. Skills most people in 2024 lack.

I'm still watching this video but wanted to stop and comment on Pearl from Just Pearly Things. I did a little bit of research on her because a guy I knew recommended her to me. Five to seven years ago, she did not have the viewpoint she is espousing on social media. In my opinion, Pearl is controlled by her management company. When Kevin Samuels died, there was a gap in the red pill manosphere, which Pearl stepped in to help fill. What people need to realize is many individuals like Pearl are basically actors filling a role for likes, clicks, and (ultimately) income. When I discussed my research with the guy who recommended Pearl, he went ballistic. He did not want to hear what I had to say, which I found interesting. Pearl definitely caters to a MGTOW/incel crowd of angry men who, for whatever reason, have not been successful in their relationships with women. She allows these types of men to shift the blame to women so they don't have to look at themselves or take any responsibility.

Her husband leaving her after 12 yrs because he was obsessed with getting a tradwife after watching Estee's content is BS. She has tattoos (they're hidden) and a boob job and basically just really likes 1950's fashion so likes to play dress up while larping as a Marilyn Monroe look alike while she stays at home. And good for her, she can pull off the Marilyn Monroe 1950's housewife aesthetic pretty flawlessly.
However, did the guy actually give af that his wife of 12 yrs was bringing home the bacon instead of cooking and cleaning (which a maid can do, which you can probably support with dual income), or did her husband just fall in love with the idea of a hot Marilyn Monroe look alike with huge boobs walking around his house in a dress?
Let's keep it real: the dude probably just wanted to sleep with someone else (particularly a younger, hotter blonde with fake boobs, which has nothing to do with being "trad" or not) and gas lighting her for not being trad enough was just an excuse to break up the marriage.

No. Women working was uncommon. A relative few worked as cooks, or waitresses because there were few eateries, few wealthy able to afford Maids, the Tradwife is NOT an invention, it always existed. Here's what they really did. Produce clothes and sell them if they could, produce goods like pies or canned goods like pickles, tomatoes, etc. You made the same error many men of this era do, ASSUME THE SOCIETAL STRUCTURE WAS SIMILAR TO TODAY. Only city ladies worked in factories, more people actually lived in Rural America than today. Modern women would hate to live in pre WW2 Rural America because marriage was still mostly arranged by families and family friends. Often farms of neighbors who liked and respected each would pair children up so that they could: 1.merge land keep it in the family, 2. Have people who know how to maintain and keep a farm going build a family. The suffragettes were fighting for the same reason these modern women are hating on the Tradwives concept so hard, they wanted to share in the new type of lives their brothers were able to, that the modern world of the late 19th and then 20th century provided. It doesn't mean the older system didn't work for society overall, nor that it's actually better for both the production and raising of children. It means, the women wanted an equal chance that their brothers had in all things....period. No one can really discredit that when the bulk of "Birthing Persons" marry, be the pillar/bedrock of society, the society hold together and is healthy, with healthy, well brought up children. The modern society is not healthy, a large percentage of Gen Z and Gen Alpha are individuals suffering terrible problem, according to themselves, psychological issues, they cannot form healthy relationships with each other. Think about the state of society in the USA today, Never before has so many people had issues with 1. The sex they were apparently born as, Transgenderism is growing. 2. Gay people are growing as well, people repulsed by the gender they need to be romantically involved with to efficiently breed, 3. Cis straight men and "Birthing Persons" are mostly not meeting eye to eye, like here, for each woman/Birthing Person here that speaks ill of men and their desire for a Tradwife there is a man in the Manosphere whining about their dislike for any person not like an actual Tradwife. No wonder so few babies are being generated that without heavy immigration, the population will grow old and smaller fast. Currently places like Italy, South Korea, and Japan show the future in all such countries with a problem for the Traditional, official median ages of 47.7 44.5, 48..4. South Korea would seem better off but with a Fertility rate of 0.8 children which means for every 200 people men and "Birthing Persons", only 80 babies are produced, that is before inevitable mortality events occur. So the median age will equal the other two quickly, The USA is rapidly approaching age 39, the point where countries like Russia and China stop growing and start to shrink and age dramatically. It's 38.9 in 2023. Older than the 37 year old "Birthing Person" in the tale told at the beginning. Dr. Darrell Bricker a far superior Social Scientist to myself, studied the phenomenon and it's his work along with some independent research done on my own regarding this subject. As the health status of the society I live in is very important as it directly affects my own life.

Pearl is a grifter and is not to be taken seriously. The same goes for these "trad-wife" TikTok ladies. None of that is real life and I say this as a man married for 16 years to a woman I've been with for 20 years who has been a SAHM with no formal education the entire time. My wife does not wear an apron, does not were short skirts, I personally enjoy cooking and we split that stuff up and I usually do the dishes a few times a week to help out as needed because 1 person cannot just do it all. This is why our marriage works because we were still raised to understand the value of supporting each other. Concepts like empathy and recognizing the value of building up companionship are not lot lost on us.
In most cases I agree a woman today should not sacrifice education because statistically, most men would not even be able to support them in divorce alimony if it came to that. My wife and I are an anomaly since I'm a high 1% earner. If we got divorced, she would have more in alimony than most people could ever hope to earn, and if I die the life insurance sets her up forever. Our daughter is nearly 17 and is being guided towards independence because unfortunately the reality is people suck and I don't trust a man to take care of my daughter the way I take care of my wife - that is, unconditionally. As time goes on and cost of living increases and life becomes tougher, the level of risk for anyone (man or woman) to be financially dependent on a "Breadwinner" increases dramatically. Both my wife and I were raised in single income households where our moms were home with us, and obviously our kids have experienced the same. I value this but we simply must be pragmatic about modern society and how detached people are today from responsibility to others. The concept of a relationship and what it means has been distorted by selfish beliefs and narcissism about "my life me me me what I want". As such, we have a sense that we must raise our kids to focus first on being independent.

There was a study done by an economist that won a Nobel prize that found the relationship between women who work and the different types of economies they live in follow a U curve. So women in the least privileged and the most privileged economies worked the most (for differ reasons) and the countries with economies in transition had the most stay at home wives. This can add some clarity to why the 50’s had higher rates of stay at home wives since most of the world was existing in a post-war economy!

No. You must be too young to know the reality. It was real, I am a Gen Xer, alive in the 1970's, my female relatives were wives in exactly this mould, and were content in their lives. They thought activists like Gloria Steinem were crazy. Women of that age actually tried to look their best all of the time, they did maintain the house exactly as portrayed, they did all the cooking, cleaning, and never left the house looking ragged, or in anything but nice clothes and their choice hairstyle. It makes me angry how these nonsense tradwives disrespect working mothers. My mom is a working mother and she was and is a damn fantastic mother. She would wake up at 4-5am, make up lunches, set us off to school, and she would go to work, then come home and wrangle with us over homework before we went to sleep. Was she there for every school play or every damn extracurricular activity? no. But she was there when it mattered. She kept food on the table, clothes on our backs, knowledge in our minds and love to make the house a home. No one should EVER disrespect her hard work, her sacrifice. tradwives are not the apex of motherhood; it's a lifestyle choice like BDSM or whatever, or role playing LARP. There is nothing magical associated with stay at home mothering and I'm sick of pretending there is.

When I worked as a nurse in maternity, one of jokes we used to say to mothers being discharged was "see you next year!". One mother laughed and responded, "I don't think so". Which was the usual response. Her husband scowled and said sharply, "I'll decide that!", and you could see her shrink. So, what she wanted was not even a consideration. She was, in effect, a chattel slave in terms of her rights and status in that relationship. And that is my problem with the Trad wife narrative. They want to create a cultural environment wherein women have no identity, no roles and no choices outside of wife and mother. It seems an outrageous claim or a social "panic", but we have people (even women) making statements about rescinding women's right to vote, making birth control illegal, telling women that their ONLY purpose in life is finding and pleasing a man; that higher education is outside of their "purpose", that needing to be financially independent is nothing more than a feminist lie. These women are, seriously, out to IMPOSE not just cultural compliance, but to FORCE compliance BY LAW to their dogma. For those who still think this is over-think, remember what was said by the women in the opening of this video -- "I DON'T LIKE that motherhood is a CHOICE". What would people like that do to ensure that it can no longer be a choice? Hand Maidens anyone? This is nothing more than misogyny .... but you know, for your own good.

@@GaDoBiMi So we agree that people should be able to decide for themselves how they want to live. But that requires that others recognize and respect that you have those rights, that you have agency and that you have sovereignty, and that this is our natural state as granted by our creator, not by men. This is what I am ADVOCATING for. Anything that violates or attempts to claim authority to remove that covenant of our being sovereign is a detriment to ALL of humanity. What I am OBJECTING to, as in the examples I stated, is that people who want a certain lifestyle trying to MANDATE the revocation of basic human rights, such as bodily autonomy (Ex: trying to BAN, BY LAW!!, birth control). Now, as a Trad, if you choose not to use birth control, don't, but to be attempting to take that choice away from ALL women is an assault on women's agency, their right to choose. If you don't want to vote, don't. Forgo whatever rights and choices you or anyone else VOLUNTARILY want to forgo. You, personally, may not want these intrusions to go forward, but they are a force in the culture, in the legislatures and judicial systems. I, for one, am responding to what I see as CREEPING DOGMATISM, and being aware of what misery it has wrought in the world, I am loath to see it take hold in this nation as it has in other nations in the BLINK of an eye. I am a stay at home mother but I have a master degree and did work in the past, I also always had my own home bought and payed of and legal documents saying that my house was only mine and could never be taken from me when I would leave my husband or he made the choice to leave me. I think its wonderfull to have the option of staying at home when the kids are young and not going to school yet but again you should not depend on a man for everything because when it goes south you should be able to be oke yourself.

Motherhood wasn't a choice for most of humanity. We struggled to live and would have loads of kids because some of them were almost guaranteed to die. That mentality as a remnant of the past and as a religious belief is still valid. I don't agree personally but it's not unhinged. You just have to use historical context.
Today, through industrialization and the modern lense we can quickly ignore or insult old points of view because we don't get it but we don't have to. Keep in mind that the vast majority of the stuff we benefit from right now was created in the 1900s. That's extremely recent on the human time-line. We're just so spoiled that we can't see beyond the past 20 years sometimes. And we judge others for still holding on to ideals that were still very relevant very recently.

For me, it's more about hey even if you have a good man who provides, what are you going to do if he sudden dies or get murdered? For me growing up both my parents are immigrants from the Caribbean and Latin American, they came to American to raise a family despite my father's family not like his decision blaming my mom even though it was originally my dad's idea my mom agreed. They hated my mom because they thought she was trying to take him away from them or something which wasn't true, context for later.
Fast forward a couple of years, my dad hard working also helping with cooking and cleaning around the house without my mom having to tell him to, also made enough noney so that my mom could be a stay at if she wanted too but she said no, she still wants to work. In my culture is really trilled that the men provides and protect so hence why hes very protect of my mom and my sis at the time but foreshadowing it was a good the my mom had working and some school experience.
While pregnant with me, and my sister on way her way to elementary school my father was killed while getting robbed to home, mom witnessed it. Usually when a parent dies the kids are entitled to money after passing but my dad's family took most of the money that was suppose be for support kids, and since my mom didn't give birth yet at the time they need proof that i was my father kid get money but of course she still didn't get anything. Dad family sold most of his stuff without giving my mom her share except of one fam that did share, but still want enoughfor the long run. Also after giving birth to me mom had to go straight back to work despite no being full recover after c-section so good this she has experience but she. The thing with this dogma many impressionable men and women fail to realise is that a Trad Wife lifestyle is only affordable to the top earners. Second, women having no safety net to fall back on, depending entirely on a single income.... that thought alone scares me.
I might not earn much or enjoy my job. But it is there to fall back on IF god forbid something happened to my husband or our home.
The saying "do not put all your eggs in one basket" comes to mind....
Lastly, women then have to depend on their husband for money for everything - holidays, clothes, etc.
It will slowly erode their freedom of choice. Unless they marry a kind man....
Last, men may not realise it now, but it also puts so much pressure on them to provide. Imagine being stressed with your whole life dependant on making enough to provide to your family.
What if you want a break? Or change your job? Or get fired? Redundant?
Men being gullible beleieving this is about secual fantasy... how unrealistic and short sighted. You would give up so much. To work your life away so you can provide.
Think about whether you truly want that, or an equal, balanced, loving home where you both support each other

Women always worked outside of the house also in additon to that women didnt usaually run the enire house hold alone and raise the kids alone they either had servants, slaves or staff or extended family members or close community memebers with which they shared all the endless tasks of childcare and housework with. The rise of the time of women runnig an entire household and kids alone is also the time "hysteria" amongs women was increasins ie women being burnt out and breaking down because it is too much labour for one person (well hysteria was also just in part sexit pathalogisation of women and girls and also locking women away if they didnt obey or act as men or society wanted them to also women loosing it due to the psycho-social abuse of women and girls and also crimes against women being ignored and womens ptsd just being blamed on women being "hysterical")

Nobody could run a bachelor farm. A HOUSE wife in an industrialized, suburban society in the United States from 1945 to 1965 existed in a strange situation. There was no other major industrialized economy on earth. The US was the only one, everything else had been destroyed by the second world war, and had to re build. The US enjoyed unprecedented economic growth and power, where wages were high enough for a single earner to support an entire family. Before 1945, large multigenerational families worked farms together, because farming is very labor intensive. Some wives had part time jobs they could do mostly from home lile photography. For instance, one family I knew owned a gutter installation business. The wife handled scheduling and accounting, and all the kids would help their dad with jobs once they were old enough. I don’t think being a tradwife nor a girl boss is the answer. This is for multiple reasons. 1. Our society was not made for women. It was built by men for men, so forcing ourselves into the workforce that is made from the man’s perspective is harming us. We have a 28 day cycle and the 9-5 is perfect for the 24 hour cycle. We literally have to ignore our bodily signals so we can work like a man, taking pills to numb the cramps and being so embarrassed or ashamed of our periods which literally track the seasons and could track the calendar year if used right. We have differences as women that could be life changing if used right and if we could feel safe in our feminity instead of having to be in our masculine to feel safe. We have one archetype of a feminine women that most know but it was made by the hatred and fear of our differences. 2. Marriage was made for convenience, not love. It was forbidden to love when marriages started out and that’s why traditional roles worked so good, and why we are seeing high divorce rates now. Marriage was only joining property, which women were seen as. 3. This society isn’t building both healthy men or women. We both have separate issues and it’s a societal issue. I don’t think we know what it looks like to be a fully healthy man and fully healthy woman.

It was men who wanted to control women that abused them into being property and take an inferior position. No one is better than the other, just different. What I’m saying if you don’t have a job and you depend on a man for money (in a marriage) a man will NEVER give you enough. not even parents give their kids enough pocket money as they want. a man will never let you fulfil all your wants and needs. you will never be able to go in town as much as you like. if he does you’ll realise he is trying to cut short on something else. Better a job than begging a man for money.

I feel like people aren't understanding that this goes deeper than just not liking the concept of a traditional wife. It's about the harmful role social media can play in creating false expectations of what is feasible in everyday life, and how when those expectations don't get fulfilled, these men are taking it out on their partners. The trad wives on social media are creating a fantasy, just like most lifestyle content creators are. It simply isn't financially feasible for the majority of people to live this way, especially if you include maintaining this aesthetic/physical appearance. And until men can understand that, and not unilaterally decide that they want to fundamentally change the woman they are with to be more financially dependent on them or start abusing their wives, then yeah, I think we can say we have a problem with tradwife content too.
It also makes me sad because in some cases, these women have no insurance. At least back in the day a woman in this kind of relationship would usually have expensive jewelry or some other kind of asset to sell if she needed to get out of a bad situation. I think it's irresponsible to promote being dependent on someone else without having a backup plan, no matter how good the relationship is.

"It also makes me sad because in some cases, these women have no insurance."
Or medical insurance, for that matter. Yeah, her husband can add her to his own policy if he has one, and the premiums might not cost too much more. But what happens if she becomes severely ill and they have to _use_ that insurance? Can he even afford the out-of-pocket costs for the things his policy doesn't cover?
Say his policy covers 70% of X,Y and Z after deductible (which itself may be thousands of dollars). He's on the hook for 20% of that cost, not even factoring the cost of prescriptions. Depending on the ailment, that could add up to tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. Can he even afford the care she needs on top of all his other financial obligations?
It costs an insane amount of money to keep a whole-ass human being alive, happy, healthy and safe.

Nah, the trophy wife is the modelesque beauty in designer outfits, who merely oversees several house employees to take care of all the domestic chores and nannies to look after the kids - while she gets her mani-pedis, massages, hair and nail appointments, so that she will look flawless when she accompanies the husband to an evening function. She will NOT exert her energy in any such way that it will negatively impact her leisure, her health and her beauty.
The trad wife is the 50´s housewife in an apron who cooks, cleans, vacuums, dusts and mops, bakes, gardens, does the laundry, raises the kids in the father´s daylong absence, helps them with homework etc.
Trad wife is the work horse, the mule of a middle class man... the trophy wife is the thoroughbred racing horse of the millionaire and billionare. Big difference.

Its so funny when people like men and pickme women keep on telling other women that being a traditional wife is the best life ever... as if we haven't seen our traditional mom's suffering due to exactly that!!!
In order to be a traditional wife 1. Husband must be 100% trustworthy and decent man..
    2. He must be very rich, no traditional women is gonna be working... so yeah good luck for us to ever find that and hence why no one is getting married and instead is getting a cat (which is 100 time better and safer than men)

I‘m always wondering… what would those women do if their men got really sick or even died? My dad was always more or less healthy until he was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive cancer when he was 51 years old. He died one year and a few months later despite undergoing chemo, radiation and a new form of antibody-treatment that wasn’t even officially approved for this type of cancer. I was 20 back then, my youngest sibling 13. We live in Germany, so we have at least some form of government support (financially). But - surprise - it is not really comparable to what my dad got payed (let alone the fact that he had always helped my mother with the house etc.). We are really lucky that my mum decided to start working again when my youngest sibling started going to school. No one really wants to think about this, but accidents happen, people can get really sick, and sometimes, there is literally nothing to prevent this.

I did get dressed and clean and cook. I also did a lot of volunteer work. My husband is retired from the Army now and the main reason I stayed home is he spent most of a decade in Iraq.
I volunteered at the base and at my son's school and I very much enjoyed it. We did have to live on a budget and forego a lot of frivolous spending many of our friends got to enjoy but the tradeoff was worth it.

If a woman wants to stay home and have tons of kids and take care of house order there is nothing wrong with that. Nobody is saying it is the only way to go. But i have seen women who feel happier taking time off to raise kids(haven't seen a woman that have never worked but only because i dont hang around rich people). I would say the smartest choice would be - live like you wish(traditional or modern) but always have a backup plan.
And guess what? Tiktok tradwifes made a great backup plan - they actually are monetising being stay at home wife. They can save money and provide for themselves if things go south. Of course they are kind of faking it with all the galmour but a lot of them probably do enjoy cooking and cleaning and tiktok money is extra benefit. I agree it is important for every person be educated and/or have work experience before being a Homemaker and Women should not be expected to submit that is really concerning and sad. However At any job or Career you are replaceable almost right away as a Homemaker or as a parent you are not.
I know this video is referring more so to the TickTock "Trad Wives" which I do NOT support but it is important to mention, there is nothing wrong with being a HOMEMAKER, it definitely isn't "lower in the chain of condemned". It is sad some people view it that way and that feel's a bit delusional to me when most people are laid off or only have temporary contract jobs anyways or are working for an abusive crazy boss 50 hours a week but so somehow that is a bit higher up? Yeah okay sure that makes sense tell yourself that. (Nothing wrong with that someone has to do it) I know married couples who have both lost their jobs around the same TIME , it happens and it is not so rare at all you can end up in the same spot anyways.
Being a Homemaker shouldn't and cannot be for every person but it works well for some people and it is important WORK.
Having children really wakes people up to the reality of this. After all some people want to RAISE their own kids. In fact research has shown children with stay at a home parent do far better on average with academic performance in School and have less behavioral issues by a long shot. I know I made the right decision to be a stay at home mom I can already see how my child is benefiting from it and all though I plan on working part time when they are in School I won't judge a long term Homemaker they are the heart of their homes and are contributing to society far more than someone slaving away for their employer. (Again someone has to do it nothing wrong with that)

I also do you think that you can be this picture perfect tradwife that’s going on around the Internet based on what kind of man you marry. If you have a loving husband who makes you feel safe and secure and you trust with all your heart than yeah you can feel safe enough to be a tradwife if that is what you want. Submission means trust, men today are not trust worthy and their brains are in the gutter most of the time. Pushing women to feel the need to protect themselves financially and create their own security. I’m not a fan of calling out gender rolls but it does start with the man to change. That is literally the definition of being the leader. With him being the first one to make things right.

I have been both a working wife and a real traditional wives. The videos are not anymore exaggerations just like most women’s content on TikTok. So are the old magazines and old TV shows of the past. That should not be the debate. What is realistic is being a stay at home parent or a person that works full time. In the 50s and 60s more women were stay at home. However, most found ways to contribute financially also. Some full-time some part and some earned income at home various ways. The shift is more about percentages of women doing what. I am 70 years old. My grandmother wore an apron. My mom wore pants. Another thing that changed was technology. It is easier and to keep a home with all the advances. That is what gave more freedom to work full time.
