I don't know who the Paul brothers are, because there are countless videos about them all over the place that all look like cheap "Drama Alert" style clickbait, and so I'm actually repulsed by the idea of clicking on them.
I dressed up as Jake Paul for my niece’s halloween party. Spray painted my skin and died my hair. Only lasted 20 minutes there before a gang of a dozen preteen girls chased me around the house and tried to grab me. Now my niece hates me for not staying longer. Fuck the internet.

Yes! We teach it to children, but then it's like once you hit a certain age people think it's a naive mindset to have. Instead they go, "this person belongs to this group of people and therefore they are like this" - it doesn't matter if it's because of ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexuality, gender, even profession or whatever else you can think of, and if the implication is negative or positive - that always annoys me like little else does. People are individuals, not a hive mind.
The news is for old people and mostly run by old people. I remember a channel back in my home country created a show that was meant to be "a fresh, younger take on current events." The youngest panelist was in her 30's and the loudest and most obnoxious character became spokesperson for the whole show, and he's nearly 50.

He was arrested not because he was playing PG in the church, no one really cares what you do in the church, may even read your favourite harem hentai or whatever. The point is, do it quietly and don't ruin it for people who come here to pray. He was acting impolite and was basically running the ceremony for others. Saying that he was banned just for playing PG in a church is like saying "OMG! Cruel Japan banned Jake Paul out just because he filmed a dead body!". And completely ignore the way guy was acting.

The media acts like society is so progressive but in reality we really are resistant to change. If we see something we don't understand, we demean it until overall it's rejected by the masses or seen as unfavorable. This can be applied to many things in modern society, which is why Millennials get backlash from the media to. RUclips is strange to those in "traditional media", so they pick out the worst of it while ignoring the fact that there are still good people. Good video and keep up the good work.
I think RUclips will stay unlike the rest, most people seem to like the content creators and find this absurd.

Seriously, you don't understand. I lived with my grandparents for a month - who watch the BBC News twice a day every day - and there's always a RUclips news report/article EVERY 3 DAYS. The funny thing is that not only are these reports hilarious in that the writers have no clue what they're writing about, they indirectly tell anyone under 18 to never use RUclips at all, which is completely stupid.

BlueDiamond One of my favourite articles that I heard during my stay was when Shane Dawson was "breaking the law" when he gave kids Oreo's during his visit to London blog. What actually happened was that in England you're not allowed to openly advertise something in any way to kids or TV in general, which ended up having his video took down; but my oh my did the news exaggerate everything, making him sound like a criminal.
The articles I heard repeated the most was about Huniepop lmao, saying that because of these "provocative" videos that under 18's can access to, parents should keep children away from RUclips.
The ironic part is pretty much every parent I know lets their kids use RUclips regardless. Whoever controls the news must be in their 60's.

I work in the discharge unit of my city's largest hospital. Every day, I'm met with the grateful, happy smiles of patients that have been deemed well enough to finally check out and go home. Yet the TV in the discharge area is perpetually set to 24 hour news channels. It breaks my heart to see such happy people being forced to hear the angry, politically biased rants from news anchors on both sides about whatever gun control issue is happening or whatever Trump is up to.

If anyone were smart they'd take everything the media says with a grain of salt. Media is always biased to cover the interesting stuff, and for the most part, the good side of RUclips isn't "interesting" compared to Logan Paul who filmed a dead body. RUclips never puts a majority of my subscribed channels into my feed with new videos. Yet it is spammed with garbage like the Late Night Show or even Logan Paul. All fucking crap I never stinking watch! That or 400 of the same damn videos from the same channel I just watched despite already having watched them all a long time ago.

It’s only illegal if it’s deemed “Hate speech” which in the legality of Scotland is subjective, and can encompass anything depending on the person who reports the speech as hateful.
Which is why any country that has Hate speech laws has no freedom of speech for its citizens, as Hate speech cannot be strictly defined, it can encompass anything and can be abused by political parties to quell opposition.

I hear you. You Tube has changed a lot since my brother and I started here in 2007. I still "watch" You Tube, but I don't make silly videos any more. My brother's channel was a basic tutorial on DIY 3D graphics. Don't look at mine unless you are very masochistic and in need of a verbal flogging. Since that time You Tube isn't the like the old community any more, too much commercialized with paid videos. Even CBS sells Stephen Colbert on You Tube. I never sold commercial spots on mine... although I image "they" are selling them now. I agree with you, I hate how the media abuses and disrespects You Tube. I also miss the way it was 10 years ago, long before Google got its claws into it.

The weird thing is, a couple years ago this video would have me rilled up in support of RUclips. But now, with everything that’s happened, I can’t bring myself to stand up for this platform anymore.
