thank you, Bob. It was an interesting lesson some example sentences to reinforce the things I learned from this lesson. We stand at attention while the national anthem is playing. We pay attention totally to the class while the teacher is pointing out the topic that will be asked on the next exam. It is difficult to hold our attention while doing multitasking. The architect's attention to detail made the building a masterpiece.
Everyone should stand at attention with their hands folded behind their backs to watch your videos, Bob! They're off the charts. Thanks for another one! ✌️
"He's always loved being the center of attention." "We stood at attention, watching the soldiers walk by." "It's important for me to hold your attention, Mr. Hands." Thank you so much for this little, interesting lesson! Best regards from Ukraine! Keep it up, Bob!
Hello Bob, my name is Kevin. I'm from Hong Kong. Although my English level is average, I can basically communicate with foreigners in English. However, every time when I mention phrasal verbs, I sometimes get stuck. So, I typed "phrasal verbs in English" on RUclips last week. Fortunately, your video was the first that popped up on the list. Then, I started to browse through most of your previous videos and I thought you teach pretty well. I study British English myself, so I particularly like your accent. It turns out that Canadian accents are a bit like British accents to me. I have watched many of your other English teaching videos. Many of them are very vivid and easy to understand. The most important thing is to use them in daily life. I like watching your videos more and more. I will watch your videos every day and hope that you will have more good videos coming up. Thank you
Hi Teacher Bob! I'm Rocky from Windsor, Ontario in Canada. I like the bobblehead you've got there! That thing looks amazing and hilarious! It also makes me laugh!
Nice bubblehead! Thank you for the video - you grabbed my attention with this man-made bubblehead. Thanks to Mohd Ags. Yesterday the bus was late so I could not check out your lesson.
Bob i'll ask you the name of the river which is running near your home. i've seen you were living near or not far from Ste Catherine, i stayed for while at ste Catherine a few years ago Thank for yor answer Joseph from France
After seeing the thumbnail and clicking the play button I thought: NO, bringt back the papers with the phrases and don't start using these AI things to animate your look in crazy and unnatural ways. I was really upset ... [A few seconds later] ... Ah! That's a puppet! 🙂 Great video, thank you!
Hi! 🖐️😎 As the Bobblehead Bob figure, your iconic style has been applied very successfully, congratulations to the producer and to Mohd for this creative idea. This is very cool. 💯♥️👍 By the way, the thumbnail from last week's lesson reminded me of a figure. It finally came to my mind, I think you look like Poseidon in that picture.🌊🌊🌊 Thank you so much for this unique lesson! Have a great day! Bye 👋😎🌹💐♥️
from iraq..Mohammed one of your followers. ❤ good luck to you... I hope you publish some short stories in english where i think it will help us to learn more.. becuase you have clear accent.... ❤
Attention one thing is a very important in psychology and our lives , and it is the most common problem with children including things like add (attention deficit disorder) and adhd ( attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)
Regarding the phrase “to stand at attention” a question came to my mind, Bob 😎. Do your students actually stand up and say "Hello" or "Good morning" when you enter your classroom? Or do they remain seated? I know this may be, let's say, an older tradition or way of greeting the teacher, (and I'm more than sure that your students will definitely greet you when they see you 😘), but when you explained it, I wondered what it's like at your school. Thanks for the great and funny lesson. The appearance of the bobblehead Bob was awesome and I also think it is very detailed. (Really, down to the smallest part.) Have a great day, Bob. 👨🏫🏫💬 P.S. At 04:21 I can't tell you why Bob, but I love the sound of your voice when you whisper. 💛
The expectation (but not always the reality) is that the teacher is in the classroom first and greets the students. This was a shift about 15 years ago towards a more inviting and friendly way of teaching. I try to do this everyday, but usually only succeed about 3/5 days per week.
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Ah, OK, I thought something like that. I mean, that it is more in this direction, Bob 😘. But I didn't know that the expectation of teachers is to be in the classroom first, before the students. Or rather, that they should try to do it that way. I can imagine that this is not always the reality or can correspond to it. I mean just considering everything you have to prepare and do before the class starts makes it difficult to stick to it 📚. So I can understand why you are only successful on 3 out of 5 days a week. (Although I think 3 out of 5 is not bad.) Thanks for your reply and explanation, Bob, even if my question was a bit strange. Have a nice day. 👨🏫❤️🍀
Starting and ending the video with "Mini- Bob the Canadian" was the one thing I didn't know I needed. You've totally held my attention by doing that! Thank you so much, Bob the Ventriloquist! 🪆🗣🎁
@@michaelhollmann8353 Haha! Thanks Michael! I already gave up on the hammock frame. Bob might as well just plant two trees that are the right distance apart from each other. I betcha It'd still take less time for the trees to grow big and sturdy than it would take Bob to get around to building it!🤭🌳⛺
Thanks again for the bobblehead Mohd. Also, watch the part where a I thank you with the subtitles on to see all the variations of your name that the subtitle AI creates. There's more, but those are the ones that pop up the most often.
Bob, eu sou Henrique. Notei que você tem o sinal de Frank na sua orelha e que ela é bem marcada. Você já foi ao médico ver se tem algum problema cardiovascular?? Se não, estou preocupado, vá examinar.

Practise makes perfect. The best way to get acquired with phrasal verbs is to use them in daily life instead of Mandarin. It works well for me
