I didn't have enough money to buy a new car, so I bought myself an old/used one. With all the repairing it needs now, I could have easily bought myself a new car.
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian I kept waiting for the inflation to go down a bit. But, it didn't happen. Instead, it 'ate' half of my savings. The exact same car, would've cost me 40% less in 2020. Same goes for all the spare parts. Good luck with your vehicle!
I first saw you on bilibili, a Chinese social media platform. I like your videos. Your pronunciation is clear. Your speech pace is friendly for foreign English learners.
I'm no longer studying English (not because I know how to speak English, but because I don't have time at the moment), but I keep watching your videos just because they are very interesting and informative. This is what I would call real-life English. Always valuable tips and information. Congratulations for your incredible channel!
Love the video, Bob! The way you explain things really helps us understand the vocabulary, usage, and whatnot. I've also heard "real estate agent." I guess that's similar, isn't it? Anyways, thanks for one more excellent video!
Thank you so much for this new video. My son is lucky that he did not have to worry about paying for his tuition, because we started saving money for his education ever since he was a baby. In. Toronto, it is quite difficult for young people to buy a decent house unless they have some financial support from their parents or grandparents.
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian My son actually spent six years in the university because of the pandemic and his medical condition. Now he is going to finish his accounting course in a month. Hopefully, he will get a decent job later this year.
Thank you for the lesson dear teacher! For me, it was the first time hearing the word realtor but hopefully i will remember it because i find that job interesting. Looking forward to seeing the next video🥰
Thank you, Bob. Very interesting video. I would like to make two questions: -Is it difficult for young people to buy a house in Ontario? -Who use to pay the university, the students or their parents? In Spain, most universities are public and are more prestigious than private ones. Expenses are much lower than in Canada and are generally financed by families. There are, of course, subsidies for the most disadvantaged families and scholarships for good students. In the other EU countries it is similar. My son studied the first 4 years of his degree in Spain and the last two in Delft, Netherlands.
It is challenging for young people to afford a house in Canada. You might need to save up money for a few years before buying. Also, some students pay their own way, some have their parents pay, and for most it is probably a combination of the two. 😀🏡🏫
Teacher bob thanks for your time which you sactificed us but i would like to request from you to make phrasal verbs because they are difficult for the people
Those are great things to find pictures of, put the word underneath, and print out the page. Then put them on the wall and every time you walk by them try to use them in a sentence! 😀🏡🏫
Hello.Great video. Thanks. Do students usually want to go to college after high school? Or are there other good options besides college when you think about making a living or building a career? See you
Most students will go to either college or university after high school. College offers shorter programs that are 1 - 3 years long that lead to a certain job. University is a broader course of study and lasts longer, and leads to jobs that require degrees like teaching, medicine, law, etc. 😀🏡🏫

Phew, that's a tough one to say which part (or parts) of the video I like best, because it was just great throughout, Bob, and as always, very informative 💛. (And not just in terms of the English language). I'd like to point out two things here, though. First, at 03:45: That's a really nice and quite calm area you chose for your video. I think not as calm as on your farm, but certainly a nice place to live. Second, at 07:11: Your second (slightly closer) look at your hand seemed like you weren't sure if you were really showing four fingers and wanted to make sure that was the case 😘. Thanks Bob. Stay safe and have a great day. 🏡🏫🚘
Yeah, about the four fingers, it was actually a busy sidewalk I was facing, and people kept looking at me and I was a bit nervous. It's hard to stay focused in those situations! 😀🏡🏫
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Yep, I totally understand you, Bob 😎. It's not easy to concentrate on something or record something when there's a lot going on around you, especially when people stare at you. It only takes a moment and you're distracted or thrown off track. (Sometimes you wonder how reporters always manage it). But let me tell you that neither the busy sidewalk nor your nervousness were noticed 😘. All in all, it was (as always) an awesome lesson, Bob. Enjoy your Tuesday and remember to relax a bit. 🛋📚👨💻
