Holy cow...that’s a lot of horn. I use the horn while lane splitting in slower/ stopped traffic since this is usually the time that drivers tend to dart across lanes.
Hi Adam, great video. Can you let us know the durability of the horns until nows since you uploaded this video more than 2.5 years. I worry they are plastic and exposed to the heat from pipe/engine/radiator. Thank you.
I'd use the horn a lot more if it sounded like something besides a kitten. I like the sound of your setup; just tring to figure out a mounting for my T120.
Agree. The stock horn is really anemic. Good for laughs, but not loud enough to yell at the driver of an SUV who forgot to check his blind spot before merging in to you. Thats the first thing I upgraded on my Speed Twin, went to Sick Speed 118db (Claimed) horn that is much louder.
Amazing sound, the stock one is almost useless. I use a lot, as it may avoid a potential accident. I’ve got a Speed Twin too and I like your videos. Greetings from Spain.
Sounds great. The original horn probably sounded like the majority of motorcycles worldwide. Iv had Hondas, Yamahas, Triumphs, and Suzukis and all the horns have sounded reasonably loud but tinny and boring. See you next time 🏍️👍🔊
Sounds great. I rarely use my horn though, and personally I think that looks too bulbous. Being plastic it might melt near the exhaust manifold.but thank you for making these videos and experimenting.
Hi Adam, I have already fitted these horns to my Speed Twin, I have mine mounted at each side, off the small engine plates at the front, both are pointed down in case of rain, I'm in the UK so we get a lot of rain! did you have to use a relay? I did on my set up, I could send you wiring set up if you want? anyway, love all your updates, cheers, Dave
@@nguyenanh6850 I have a PDF or a JPeg of the wiring details for twin horns with relay, go to my channel and click 'about' for my email address, then just mail me and I'll send you it, cheers, Dave
It’s the tire monitor light, Tire pressure sensor might be bad, and I don’t want to go to the dealership. I’ve been keeping a close eye on tire pressure and it’s always been within spec.
Good vid Adam, you have a great channel for Speed Twin owners; yeah the stock horn is for crap. I just installed the Denali Soundbomb Compact Air Horn ($50) and it scares the crap out of you. I don't use my horn often but when you need it, you really need people to hear it. I use my high-beam flasher a lot more than a horn. Here's the a link to the Denali and it reqs a wiring harness which is about $26. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/denali-soundbomb-compact-air-horn
On your next video let's hear the sound in your back yard (garden UK) to hear it better. Like you I don't use my horn often, in my car or motorbike. Never did like the people who lean on their horns for 5 or 10 seconds because of a very minor road altercation, makes me angry. 🚗🏍️🔊
Amazing upgrade! I hardly ever use my horn, even when I'm driving my car. I just never feel the need to.

Did you use the OEM wires to both the horns using the pigtail cable that you made? Did not add any relay?
Indeed, much better than stock!
Great video sounds great looking forward to more upgrades on your speed twin 👍
Sounds good! Never ever use the horn though on any bike.

Way better than Stock,BTW I honk a lot 😬
Gonna install soon on my Speed Twin🤟🏻

Hey Adam, any plans of installing ohlins suspension in the front as well. It would make the bike complete
Yes eventually, I haven’t decided which brand to go with yet though. New options keep popping up.
@@AdamCroll I think the ones from the thruxton R( gold ohlins) would look sick. Try finding a great deal from eBay 😉
Hey Adam,
You ever think about adding a quick shifter to your bike?
What kind of horns did you use? They sound much better than the others people usually install.
Ok just read your description 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
use it every day
No relay?
I only use my horn to interrupt dogs mid-dump. They look up with such shame! And the owners always look pissed. Makes me laugh every time.

Just asking, I do think a relay is better and safe method. But can you just connect it like the Adam ways? Will the bike original wiring is capable?
If possible, can you send me your wiring setup. Thank you & cheers!
@@nguyenanh6850 relay is preferable, I have the wiring details at home, on holiday at the mo, I'll get back to you later.

How come there is a red warning light on your display?

Hardly ever use mine, the stock horns on most bikes are an embarrassment really...
I fitted a dinali sound bomb. Sounds deep like yours but easier to fit , tuck away on a custom bracket I made . 🎶( don’t ever use it though! ) 😂👍

A before and after may have been good
That horn just looks awful! I will keep the stock horn, which I have never used!
