Mariam, when it comes to Dressing, everyone has a family preference. You're brave to even have it on a platform, because some people don't know how to make it at all...Don't feel bad about it, because that's 1 of those dishes that gets passed down within EVERY family.
And the whole point of recipes is to take what someone has done and change it according to your palette. As long as it taste good I do not care if it made from scratch or semi home made.
You should do a "Win a dinner with you" for your followers. We fly ourself out and get a taste of your mouth watering cooking. Hey doesn't hurt to dream ☺
I made this two times and the 2nd was the best. Please use all liquid. The dough will eventually absorb and it's the perfect consistency once cooled off. If you decide to use a little or none it's dry. But when you use all juice it's devine!!! So good, so scrumptious it taste totally home made!! Like you have been in the kitchen for hours!!
Thank you for sharing your family recipes with us. Don't sweat it about the dressing. Everyone makes theirs different. I grew up with my mom making dressing using her homemade buttermilk cornbread, so that's pretty much how I make mine. I add a little sugar to it, but I do that with alot of savory dishes cause it adds to the flavor. That was an easy peach cobbler. Looked good😋. For those that are not much of a cook you help show them how to prepare dishes and meals that they could learn to do and add to their repertoire. Have a blessed holiday.💙
@@rwilliams4752 Basically cornbread, sauteed (onions, celery, green bell peppers), chicken or turkey broth, cream of chicken and cream of mushroom, sage, poultry seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt to taste if need be, a little sugar, sometimes I might make it with meat (adding either cooked chicken, turkey, or maybe pork sausage). Combine all ingredients. Taste it for seasoning. Bake it at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour stirring thru it once.
I'm in UK heard of this but never had as not something we have here. I agree think I would prefer it drier but may I ask is this likely to turn out like pineapple upside down cake?
@@melissaa4168 -- I've had pineapple upside down cake and it was a firm/moist cake. I would agree to have a peach cobbler a bit firmer with vanilla ice cream, lol

I made this tonight and also the Birria eggrolls and I just kept saying OMG lol. Both were sooooooooooo good!! The southwestern burritos have become a staple as I make them almost monthly. Thank you so much for sharing your delicious recipes!
I never had peach cobbler or banana pudding until I moved to NC with my husband. His Granny made the best! I miss her but I’m so glad I got to learn from her. Now I make them and I make her PB fudge.
I love this recipe! My granny made the BEST peach cobbler and when she passed I couldn’t bring myself to make or eat it anymore but I’ve been craving it! I’m going to try it this way with my own little tricks but this looks great and yummy 🥰🥰 ... for those complaining about it being “too wet” just add corn starch and water into the peach juice to thicken it up and baked an extra 20 mins 🤦🏾♀️ ... not everyone makes things the same depending on the family and where they live so let’s try not to be so “omg I don’t it this way” & blah blah blah smh anywho ... I love you lady❤️💕💕

I eased up on some of the peach juice being diabetic n the sugar thats in there, plus to make up for it is the scoop of ice cream ill put on top so test cobbler in the oven!! Your AWSOME MIRIAM!!
OMG! Miriam! Why am I just finding you! I have been watching muckbangs for almost a year and lost interest because they were about everything else but the food☹️. Very classy and focused in a world that is the polar opposite. Keep up the amazing work and you have another faithful subscriber in me! I will be sharing....
This is one of my favorite recipes. I add a quarter cup of white sugar and a quarter of brown sugar. And the canned peaches don’t taste bad at all. SO GOOD!!
You can use yellow cake mix in place of all of the batter you created. Use the juice from the peaches as the wet ingredient. It is so simple and delicious! Looks great, Miriam 🤤
@@Twinx2277 Dry cake mix. And you use half of the juice from the large can of peaches. Then mix everything in the pan (peaches, 1/2 peach juice, 1 box yellow cake mix). I also add some cinnamon to mine. Then I cut up some butter and spread the pieces on top to keep it moist.
I tried a short cut years ago and used can peaches instead of fresh peaches and I didn't like it much, I also used bourbon which is a traditional ingredient on a lot of cobblers. I went back to fresh peaches but I'm gonna try yours it looks delicious!
I made the dressing for Thanksgiving and my family loved it! I will be making it again for Christmas. I only substituted the chicken for turkey in the stuffing. It Was So Good!! Thanks for sharing! #StaySafe #StayBlessed
I make a cobbler that's similar but I don't like canned fruit so what I would do is take fresh peaches that you want to use in the cobbler, add to sauce pan with cup of water and 1/2 cup to full cup of sugar (light or heavy syrup) and bring to boil and simmer for about 15mins. My favorite is cherry cobbler, I add a couple cups of pitted, cut in half cherries in a pan with cup of sugar and cup of water, and make cherry cobbler. Sooooooo.... GOOD!
I agree! Jiffy is not really sweet at all... When I want a quick sweet cornbread, I use jiffy, but need to add a pinch of sugar and local honey in the batter💕. To me, alone, is not sweet. Also, with all the other ingredients added, you really don’t want anything too salty. It needs to balance the turkey and pork. That’s just me, to each his own, cooking is personal❤️❤️. I would have added just a small scoop of Creole Cream Cheese Ice Cream with this if it was served warm😊. Side note, Thank You for sharing your recipes! I have saved many of yours and fix them for my family😍
THIS IS LITERALLY THE ONLY DESSERT I CAN MAKE. It was so good and moist! I didn’t put the syrup from the peaches but I did put cinnamon on top of the peach cobbler before I put it in the oven and it was crispy and moist! So good
LOL. I don't even like peach cobbler, but I sholely watched from beginning to end as I love watching Ms. Miriam and all her fun and funny antics! I might even make this knowing I won't have to taste it and it'll already be a winner! 👍🏽
